So far, so good!
I use this bulb to simulate sunlight for my finches. It stays on 6am to 6pm. It's been two months and still going.

5 stars for 1 working bulb and Amazon customer service
I am giving this only 4 stars because I ordered 2 bulbs but only 1 works. Amazon customer service is great and worked it out to replace just 1 bulb not the entire order.Nor for my review of the light itself. I suffer from year round depression. I take vitamin D3, eat right mostly, move around as much as I am able, do everything I can to ease my depression. I suffer from chronic pain which makes depression worse which causes more pain etc etc. Anyhow, my son in law came across a Verilux happy light. He didn't think much of it, so he passed it on to me. OMG!!!! I felt the effects after half an hour. I used that light all day every day and burned the bulb out. Of course, the bulb for that particular light isn't cheap and when searching I found these lightbulbs with a regular base and thought I would try them. They are as good. The full spectrum light does NOT work for everyone, but I am extremely sensitive to my surroundings. They work for me. I plan on eventually replacing every light in my house with full spectrum bulbs

The bulb did not work at all.
Unfortunately, this bulb did not work w/my verlux wake up lamp...seems like as if the lamp is now garbage, because I cannot find the proper replacement bulb, which is sad because the lamp helped so much with my sleep habits. Gonna have to find a new wake up lamp, probably gonna go for the Phillips.

Two time loser
I ordered one of these hoping it could help with winter time depression and it came to me dead and non functioning. Well, that can happen with shipping, so I got another. It lasted me a month and a half before abruptly dying. While it worked it was plenty bright, but didn't seem to matter with winter depression and for this price I'd have expected it to last a bit longer than this.

Brightens up the room and it feels like outdoors.
