Hyperikon introduces the new HyperCut50-AD Plasma Cutter This sturdy, portable Plasma Cutter will find its way into your workshop, whether you need it for little DIY projects or for more professional activities. It is built with durable material that are rated at insulation class F ensuring resistance and stability at higher temperatures. The unit operates on single electrical power phase at 120V/240V dual voltage. The inside of the unit is constructed by the latest IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) inverter technology which is the next step from the MOSFET welding technology. IGBT inverter design has many advantages delivering higher voltage capacity and heat tolerance as well as greater effectiveness for applications that require frequent amplification switching. For increased safety during cutting the unit features a built in over-surge and over-heat protection. Additionally, for smoother and safer operation ware protective equipment and adhere to the instructions provided in the user manual. PERFORMANCE Hyperikon’s Plasma Cutter is suitable for cutting stainless steel, copper, iron, aluminum metal and other mild metals. The maximum recommended cutting thickness is 14mm (0.511-in) but the outcome will largely depend on the work piece’s material and the way the plasma cutter and torch are being handled by the user. To minimize the dross residue on your work piece regulate the plasma output by turning the current adjustment knob on the front panel and adjust the movement of the hand that holds the torch. The unit has a current range of 10-45A. Use the digital display for a visual control over the amp output. Duty Cycle >> 60%, Air Pressure >> 75psi, Operating Temperature 12°-110° F INCLUDED COMPONENTS The unite comes with a PT-31 contact start cutting torch that has a 13 feet lead cable. The set also includes earth clamp, 10 feet power cable, 6.5 feet air hose, air regulator and spare torch parts.
