Fun and fast. Keep your paper guide next to you and use it to keep the colors straight. Know before buying that the colors are not printed on the canvas, but if they were they would show through.It's just like cross stitch, keep count by using the guide. I also draw a line through the row once I am done with it so that I can keep track of where I am. Always work left to right starting at the bottom corner and you will have no problems:-)The finished product is really fun and shaggy. The yarn is longer than in a regular latch hook project and softer as well.I highly recommend this kind of craft to anyone who is disabled or homebound. I'm trying to find new things to do and came back to this old craft and I'm so glad!

Bought this as a first Latch hook for a six year old girl. Overall very happy with the quality of the string and canvas. The pattern on the paper does not match the colors on the canvas. There was no green thread, though it shows it in the picture and on the canvas. The pattern on the paper matches the yarn, so she is able to use the extra yarn shade in where green is shown.

Teen loved it. "It's simple", "it's easy", it's "not easy to mess up". Finds latch hook relaxing.Someone asked for a copy of the instructions. Wish it was color coded. Kind of hard for my 7-year old.

Not finished with it yet. But am please with the product.

This product was better than I thought it would be.

I had to return this item. The kit included yarn and a totally blank canvas. I had expected design to be printed on the canvas so that my granddaughter would have a guide for filling in the yarn.
