It’s a great fit. I couldn’t use the connector that came with it. Perhaps my skills aren’t that advanced.

It's a Shimano chain! It's nothing fancy, but you know it's going to work, and you know it's going to be reliable. It looks great when you first install it, but like all chains, unless you wax them, they'll start looking grimy pretty quickly. There are probably slightly cheaper alternatives out there, but I don't know why you'd cheap out to save a couple of bucks. This is quiet and smooth as long as the rest of your drivetrain is properly adjusted, and they'll last you for years if you keep them properly lubed.

Chain fits perfectly, however the masterlink showed up completely bent out of shape. Thankfully I had spares, or I would’ve been screwed. Easy to install when you have a functional masterlink. Definitely worth it, aside from the masterlink issue.

Shimano HG40, on time and brand new.

Broke within 3 rides quite disappointed since it was expensive. It was longer than I wanted too and I had to break it down. Master link was bent and difficult to install.

The Shimano HG40 chain was easy to install and shifts smoothly. The only issue was my own mistake — I cut the chain too short because I didn’t follow the instructions carefully, and I ended up having to buy another one. Definitely recommend checking the sizing instructions twice before cutting. Other than that, solid chain and straightforward install.

So muss das! Kette in OVP und Neuwertig mit Kettenschloss! Die Kette hat 115 Glieder (Mit Schloss dann 116, wie auf der Packung angegeben). Mit der HG40 von Shimano habe ich bis jetzt immer gute Erfahrungen gemacht, kann ich also bedenkenlos empfehlen

So far so good. Packaging looks like the real thing and the price is good.
