This was easy to install, and works great! Don't let the first review scare you away...
Works great, Added it to my Vera system very easily. With the vera I can add pin codes and new badges, with instructions and step by step button pushes.. it was stupid easy..My only issue is finding the correct RFID tags, I mistakenly ordered something willy-nilly and learned RFID has a lot of ranges and standards..The included RFID tag was easily added to the system using very obvious instructions via the Vera system.I also ordered some 13.56mhz RFID tags this mhz range is the same as ISO15963 but they don't seem to be working, luckily I have only spent about 10.00 learning how specific RFID is...The supported protocols for the RFID tag is ISO15693, ISO18000-3, Tag-itIf anyone can help me find a Amazon product that works, preferably in the Key-chain variety I would greatly appreciate it.

Custom Device Handler makes it work with SmartThings
I got this as a security keypad for my Smartthings based system. I was aware that this unit is not directly supported by Smartthings but I was able to find a custom device handler for the unit that made it work just fine. Only thing to note was that the unit won't respond properly until you set the master key timeout to 240 in the settings of the unit and set a master key. It will then work fine and together with a CORE piston can arm and disarm the house. The unit is nice and small and I have one mounted in the door frame outside and one on the inside of the same door.

Worked great until it died after 2 years.
Used with Vera Plus for 2 years. Lost it's connection, can't reconnect.

Gutes Gerät
Das Gerät wurde schnell geliefert und war gut verpackt.Funktionell ist das Gerät in Ordnung und mit etwas Programmierarbeit war es kein Problem das Gerät in Betrieb zu nehmen und weitere RFID Tags anzumelden.Nun lässt sich mittels RFID Tags (Schlüsselanhänger) die Alarmanlage scharf schalten.Qualitativ wird das Gerät dem Preis gerecht. Die Druck-Taster scheinen robust zu sein.Alles in Allem: Gutes Gerät, welches allerdings einiges an Geschicklichkeit bei der Inbetriebnahme abverlangt.
