Nice, but not silver
I have been buying these glasses for 13 years now in Europe and USA. They are Mikasa glasses collection and they are well made. I love the elegant patterns. This pack comes from Amazon UK. It is described as silver, but in fact pattern is white. I keep them because they were cheaper, but still they are not silver. They exist in gold and smoke too if you like them. They are resistant and last if washed by hand paying attention. I broke 4 in 2 weeks because they slid from my glasses holder...that is a great pack to offer your friends if they like white wine for example.

Mikasa is a great affordable option but read about sellers or doomed to repeat
Arrived weeks late from seller Nsav all 4 goblets cracked chipped and chunked. Mikasa makes better quality options with thicker heavy duty options here on amazon and their site too. Amazon kindly refunded my purchase upon return but seller Nsav didn’t do anything to explain or protect these delicate items so best you avoid seller Nsav and NOT waste time, energy and spoil any holiday occasions getting only a couple glasses (or 0/4 in my sad experience) making your actual planning unreliable at best.

Two of the glasses are the same design but there are supposed to be 4 different ones.
These glasses which I took to be identical to the four I bought recently are larger by about two ounces so they don't match my other ones . There are supposed to be four designs but two are duplicates. I'm very disappointed.

Beautiful and exactly what I wanted!
I have been on the lookout for these glasses for over a year, ever since I purchased champagne flutes and wine glasses with the same pattern. I’ve been till now, the only available dinner glasses, were 20 ounces, much more than I wanted. When I saw these for 16 ounces, I bought them on the spot. They arrived yesterday. I sent them through the dishwasher last night and they came out beautifully. They are lovely and not as fragile as I was afraid they were going to be. I’m thinking about getting four more.

Too fragile
I've only had these for a couple of months and one has a nick on the drinking edge and a second one sheared off at the stem. I really love these for their shape and beauty but they are too expensive for the poor durability. I have been very careful with them, only hand washing.

We are enjoying these wine glasses
They were everything and more than what I expected when I ordered them. They are light weight, easy to clean and the gold has not flaked off.

Very decorative glasses
Great glasses for entertaining or every day! Pretty to look at and easy to hold onto without worrying about tipping them over.

Pretty but delicate, I wouldn’t recommend
I bought these as I’d seen them in a local garden centre but the one box they had some of the glasses were broken. I now know why....they’re extremely fragile! We broke one dropping an ice cube into it and the other on the side of a plastic washing up bowl! So we’re 2 glasses down having used them just 3 times. Pretty glasses but too delicate so I can’t say I’d recommend them. I’ll be sticking to a well known crystal brand me thinks.March 2021....they’re all now broken because of ice cubes!! Bit if a design flaw in a gin glass IMO...I’ll stick to the crystal glass brands I know from now on! These are all fur coat no knickers

Great gin glasses
Love these glasses... just a bit different with the patterns... daughter saw them and wants some... very well packaged too, box in a box in a box.

Very fragile!
As other reviewers have said, these glasses are so thin they're practically not fit for purpose. A real shame as they looked great, but one box arrived with a broken stem (which the seller replaced immediately - definitely a bonus!), but then 2 of the replacement glasses have now broken within a few uses. We were aware the glass was thin and fragile, so have been as careful as possible, but we still had one glass develop a serious crack across it, and when my husband dropped a cube of ice into another it literally smashed an ice cube size hole through the glass...........so fragile is maybe an understatement!? I can't recommend these, unfortunately, unless you're planning to pop them into a display cabinet as an ornament! Disappointing.

Not really fit for purpose (ie as a gin and tonic glass)
The reason why this shape of glass has become popular for gin and tonics is that you can get a lot of ice in them and therefore the ice does not melt so quickly and dilute the gin and tonic. I have now broken two glasses when adding ice, the first one because I used the ice machine in the freezer, the second one when I was adding the ice by hand (I realised they were a bit delicate after that). They are that fragile (too fragile given my first sentence). To give extra context, I have Riedel Crystal wine glasses, so I am used to using delicate glasses... I even used some of those goblets as gin glasses until we got some "proper" gin goblets. On the plus side, they look lovely.

Look pretty but paper thin
Although these gin balloons look attractive, they are made of paper thin glass - both the body of the glass and the stem. One broke immediately when I pushed it against the ice dispenser of the fridge; and the sides of another shattered simply dropping an ice cube into it! I bought these for my husband's birthday, but we'd gone through half of them in a week. Bought six sturdy gin balloons from Wilkinsons instead for the princely sum of six quid! They may be plain but they will last a lot longer.
