Compact for easy storage. Easy instructions for expanding the fibre. Unfortunately I've found out I'm allergic to it so can't use it.

This substrate is great and very safe for tortoises. It comes in a brick form and you drop it into a bucket of water and it will expand. Looks like you get a small amount of substrate but it's surprising you soak it in water to let it expand.

This is the best substrate for keeping my tortoise. It keeps moist, clean and if he accidentally eats it, it won't cause problems. The packs are tiny and not heavy but expand in water so great for space saving until you use them.

My jird girl loves this & really feel there are no respiratory issues typically seen with small furries & certain types of bedding - yay!

I had never used this substrate before, but my gecko has already enjoyed burrowing through it. It has also made the enclosure a feature. Overall I am very pleased.
