Are the caplets in a bottle with a screw cap or blister pack

These are purposely in hard to remove blister packs because drug addicts use them (in very large numbers) to get high or help come down off a high. The FDA directed makers of them to no longer offer large amounts in easy to open bottles. I understand the reasons for it, but for those of us with medical issues who rely on the product to get thru each day, it’s very difficult. Gone are the days you could buy a bottle of 200 of the Kirkland Brand at Costco. Now all you can get is a 24 count blister pack and you have to ask for it as it is stored behind the pharmacy counter. It never fails that a few ruin it for the many.

Bubble pack and I have used fingernails (multiple broken), scissors, mat knife and my head - trying to think of better ways to open. I can't imagine why people would abuse this but the maker must profit greatly by selling in small amounts with each caplet looking like a treasured gem. And the price per pill is approaching that price. I've gone generic, tho' little help in cost.

Do these still come in a bottle of 48 pills I don’t seem to find them anymore

I'm not sure if they do now. I stopped buying Imodium when they went exclusively to foil packs
