Frosty the Snowman (Hallmark Recordable Book)

We recorded this for the grandkids and they thought it was great. We got recordable artworks from them later and having those little voices preserved has just been a wonderful treat. So, these may be pricey but under the right circumstances they can end up being priceless. We had no problems with the recordings or batteries or the book being at all so tetchy, but we have seen that with some other "sounds" books. I imagine it's a luck of the draw sort of thing.

I purchased this for my two year old grandson. It recorded very easily and sounds good. My grandson is now three and he still loves listening to it. He smiles every time it's mentioned and loves the fact that it is Grammy reading it to him. I love it because I'm 6 hours from him and I can still be 'there' with him. I recommend this book!

but, the mechanism in them does not work and neither of the 2 I ordered work properly, so these are not going to be able to be used for my grandchildren and there is no refund, so a huge dissapointment

Great for when you are deployed. I was on a deployment for 6 months and I missed all the major holidays. I have a son and I bought this for him. Was shipped to my location, recorded myself reading it and sent it the first week of December. he loved it and I am glad I bought this for him.

Audio did not work. When I recorded, playback sounded like something out of a horror flick! Not even words! Returned.

Love it and it is in perfect condition! The batteries in it were corroded so those should have been taken out but this is great and I can't wait to give it to my grandson!

I would've loved this book except for the fact that it wasn't the complete story. I did return the book only because my granddaughter would've been very disappointed that half the story was missing!

I've given this book to so many as baby gifts.I bought for my Daughter for Christmas one year my daughter loves this book so much the pages are starting to fall out.

Book looked good but wouldn't tape. Checked batteries and they were all corroded - white crusty material all over the battery case. We spent quite a lot of time cleaning it up and replaced the batteries and we were able to tape. Also no music on it. Very disappointed.
