WiFi Spy Camera Hidden in a Black Box with Pinhole Lens, Spycam with P2P Remote Viewing, Recording and Notification (Flushed-H-Ant)

This is a review of the WF-100AH hidden spy camera. I don't know about long term usage, but after a day's experience, I think the camera is an excellent choice if you want something hidden. I personally am using it to check on a virtual school student to make sure no sleeping is going on when Google Classroom is supposed to be in session.Some points:1. I first set it up on the iPhone app - the instructions to do that were perfect and within 5 minutes I got a clear picture. Good instructions, good app.2. I would like to set it up for a fixed IP address but the PC software gives an error and chooses to use a DHCP. This is a similar bug to another form of SCS camera that I already had.3.SCS customer service is very responsive, but have still not actually given me a solution about fixed IP address.4. Picture quality is very clear and sharp. The sides of the picture look a little rounded, but that isn't a big issue. The camera is said to be good with low lighting, but since there are no infrared sources, if its dark, all you'll see is a black picture.5. The color of picture is shifted to somewhat violet/purple probably because of the low-light infrared. Not a big issue for a spy camera but if you expected true colors don't be surprised.6. It is very sturdy and easy to hide in a small box and placed on a shelf. Just measure where the camera hole is, punch a hole in the box, put a drop of hot melt adhesive on the side and stick it in so the holes line up.

Hardware is very discrete, even with a pinhole. Video quality is excellent, in mid lit rooms and up. Wifi works without issues.However- the iotliving app required for setup and use of this camera is complete garbage. Exports video files unplayable by any software other than a PC based security program supplied by seller. Even using VLC player, which typically plays anything you can throw at it, refuses to handle these exported video files. It just locks up and eventually force closes. I jumped through hoops to try and use multiple video conversion programs to try and get it to something usable and came up empty handed. That makes this camera completely useless for security purposes, because the videos cannot be exported and handed over to the authorities if need be.The second major issue is the ridiculous inability to record a video triggered by motion for longer than 30 seconds. Sure, after it resets after alarm and triggers again, you can get another 30 second video- unfortunately time passes between those two actions, so whatever occurs during those two videos won't be captured. Again, this is an app issue, not a hardware issue because I have the Vertically oriented version of this same camera (along with numerous others from the same seller) that I can setup via the more common HDMinicam app and it does not have that silly limitation, AND it exports all videos into an easily playable format. Unfortunately this horizontal version is married and marred by the forced useage of the iotliving app. For that specific reason, until these two issues are fixed (the software developer has supposedly been made aware but nothing has been released to fix the issues to date) I cannot recommend this device. Look elsewhere.

This is the second one of these I have bought because they are so good and discrete and I can watch it anywhere via the app. Highly highly recommend. Also the customer service is fantastic.

Great hidden camera. Takes good video. You can’t see the cameraa at all, it’s hidden well. Just be very careful not to let the plastic covering that the camera is behind, rub against stuff because it scratches easily. Video is slightly colored from the brown transparent plastic it has to shoot through.

This camera has not been identified by anyone yet! It works very well. Customer service from the owner has been outstanding. Responds within a very short period of time! Great customer service. So far the camera has had small glitches but there are ways to fix it. Great cameras!!The camera does detect any small light movement in motion setup. And if you set the app to notify you- if notifies you every few seconds. But I like that you can go back and see the motion recordings!! Great camera! Not for dark places. But during the day it is a great camera!!! Works great

In use in less than 5 minutes. Easy. Very lightweight unit that in NO WAY can anyone tell it's a camera. Time will tell if it holds up and stays active, but for now, it's all systems go. Sneaky little guy looks exactly like a wifi extender. I actually have it set up next to the tv and simply looks like part of the cable box setup. Wide enough viewing angle for most uses.Hint: when setting it up, it's tempting to rush it. Don't. Take your time. Find the right location FIRST, then follow the easy step by step instructions and you'll be viewing in under 10 minutes.UPDATE 2/2019----units still working fine after 1 year and no issues with the app. At all.

Product was just what I needed, small, discreet and setup was fairly simple. I used stickers for a WiFi extender on the unit and no one thought anything of it sitting right in the open. Picture clarity was good. Did well in regular and low light areas. great for a break room to see who's stealing the lunchs, or a supply closet to see where your inventory is going. Lots of other uses, but a good little all around camera.

The product is good and easy to configure but it doesn't work after a power failure, it goes to the factory default after the power failure.

Fast delivery and product exceeded my expectations. Any questions I have are always answered promptly and love their products, this is my second and will be going for a third.
