I bought two of these to replace a pair of failing old solenoids on a Ramsey winch from a wrecker. The price was right and the quality is exceptional as always from Superwinch. Still going strong 2 and a half years later with no complaints!

These solenoids didn't last very long. I used the winch three times after I installed them and they both burn out

OEM replacement for the solenoids in a Superwinch X3.Edit: Now that I've got it installed, something isn't right. It works intermittently, switching on and off several times per second. I know it's not the solenoids because I can get the winch to work smoothly without the remote.I'll update when I know more. Right now I'm planning on returning and getting a replacement.

Purchased this 12 v solenoid switch from Amazon. Product was received quickly and in good condition. The product description was for a winch but the picture was for the solenoid switch for a 12 v winch. So I risked the order.What was received was exactly as pictured. Tried to use the solenoid as a switch to control a 12V motor, and it would not turn the 12V power on or off for a 12V bulb indicating that the switch was defective. Tried it with a larger load, still no functionReturned the switch using Amazon's excellent service.
