Great pair of IEM's, ergonomics slightly off.
Great sound. Have been a user of ES18 for many years. Switched to this one. As compared to the ES18 this one sounds better. Great bass. And balanced high's. The mid's could have been better though. Not as comfortable as the ES18's though, keeps popping out of my ears for some reason...LOL.

Sound magic is best in this range
Best product in this range. For more bass and sound one can go for expensive sound magic headphones

JUST GO FOR IT!!
I have used so many earphones like JBL, Senheiser, Audio Technica, Sony, Skullcandy, AKG but none of them is better then Soundmagic Earphones like PL11 and ES18 too in this price range (under 1K). Just close your eyes and click on Buy Now without worrying about anything!!

And the most wonderful part is that there are no service centers
Bought it, worked well for about one month and now all of a sudden they're not working properly. And the most wonderful part is that there are no service centers, and email id which I got from another site doesn't work. It's a fraud.

Nice one!
Being a frequent traveller, watching movies on the go was top notch priority. The hf does deliver quiet good and fits in ear first in line.

Don't trust them
Very poor quality , overall very bad, doesn't last for six months also, after paying so much

Initially good, but do not last
I bought these to replace my Sennheiser CX300IIs after one of the headphones stopped working, on the strength of a number of recommendations and positive reviews. There are several good things about these headphones:- The sound quality is very good for a pair of budget headphones. I like the CX300IIs and these are at least as good for sound quality, although they are heavier in the bass end (which I don't mind, I just adjusted the EQ and it's fine).- They come well packaged with a cheap but effective pouch (fits an iPod Touch fine), three sets of buds and a clip for the wires to attach to your clothing. The last is particularly handy as it keeps the wires from rubbing (which creates quite a lot of noise) and tangling.- Both left and right earphone cables are the same length which I think helps them not pull too much on one side or the other.- They feel reasonably well-made and have a good amount of support in the areas which tend to be put under the most strain. However there are also some annoyances:- When the mp3 player is being moved around quite a bit (e.g. in a larger pocket while walking), there is a lot of crackling through the earphones which is really annoying.- While charging my iPod touch, I get interference when listening to music through these earphones at the same time.I can't yet say if they are longer-lasting than the Sennheisers. My CX300IIs lasted 2 years and I've only had these a few weeks. I think that would be the tipping point for me to choose these over Sennheisers again. In terms of sound quality they are very evenly matched.EDIT/UPDATE 04/03/2013Unfortunately, today the bass disappeared from these earphones leaving a very strange-sounding tinny tone, playing various bits and pieces of tracks. Shame as the sound was good - but having broken less than a year into their use, I can no longer recommend these and am therefore downgrading from four stars to two. The sound is good, but they clearly do not last.

Great price, great sound - poor reliability
My search for the ideal earphones/headphones continues.I first came across these after Stuff Magazine waxed lyrical about the great audio quality and the low price. I bought a pair and I have to say, all aspects of sound quality are really good for the price. The bass and treble are nicely balanced and in terms of ergonomics, they are well-designed - not too intrusive in the ear (unlike Shures and their ilk). The cable clip is really handy. To this day, I don't understand why more earphones do not provide one. The cable is just the right length and the pack comes with a good enough range of changeable rubber buds, and carry pouch.Unfortunately, I have to report that I have purchased 5 pairs in the space of 2 years (I've stuck with them for so long because of the low price and decent sound quality). The 'phones always fail in the same way - the rubber cord base peels away from the metallic body. Although they can be glued, I find that once the earphones fail in this way, the corresponding left or right ear cable fails completely shortly after.Admittedly, my earphones are used for several hours each day; but even then, an average lifespan of 4/5 months for all the pairs I have owned is not really acceptable.I am currently on my last pair, after which I will revert to the Creative EP-830s - even cheaper on Amazon at the time of writing, more durable, and better sounding with my Creative MP3 player.

Great earphones, but I personally don't like them
Nope, don't like them. I had a set of the SoundMagic PL11 In - Ear Super Bass Earphones for almost 4 years, and one side recently died (from cable abuse, mostly likely!). I was going to get the same ones, but thought a newer model with such great reviews would be a better buy. Keep in mind that these 'bad' points are all in comparison to my other SoundMagic earphones, which I'd been used to for 4 years.... I find that even with the largest buds, they still don't feel like they seal my ear as well. The sound is a little bit tinnier. The cord is stiffer and 'springier' and holds it's shape too much after being coiled up, which means it sticks out all over the place instead of lying flat. The clip can't slide up the cable high enough to be any use, in my opinion. They stick out of my ears further than the other ones, meaning I can't have them in while lying on my side (admittedly, I only do this occasionally, while listening to a sleep hypnosis track when the insomnia gets bad). They were very well packaged... I had to pretty much destroy the pack to get them out, so I can't send them back, doh. Having said all that, you'll see that people who know a lot about sound have given these little guys fantastic reviews, and most of my gripes are in regards to personal preferences. And I loved my other SoundMagic earphones, going to try to get the same model again. Unbeatable sound/comfort/durability for the price. They're the only brand I bothered to look at when looking to buy a new pair this time.

Worth every commendation. Superb!
It didn't take long to discover that these sound better than any headphones I have ever had. I am of course comparing these to headphones within my price range...not stuff like high end Shures. Compared to Sennheisers twice the price, this is better. Sounds clearer and separation of bass, mid range and highs is phenomenal.Buds make a huge difference to sound and if they do not fit in the ear, even the best earphones/headphones will sound like tin cans joined together with a string! These come with two extra pairs of buds, so it is hugely important to try them out and see which one fits the best. Buds are quite cheap to buy on their own and it is always worth buying a collection and trying out each one till you have found perfection. These look quite fancy with a ring of copper and the clip is quite useful too in keeping the phones secure in the ear when moving about. Most of us are now encoding music at 320 KBPS, so headphone quality is really important or the whole exercise is a waste of time. Try out these headphones; give your ears a treat and save that hole in your pocket.

Fantastic sound quality
This is my 3rd set of PL11's and I have to say that the sound is unparalleled in the price range. I've tried several different headphones in the £20-40 range and I always end up coming back to these. I was a professional sound engineer for 10 years and the sound quality of these headphones rate along side some £150+ brands. The only downside is that I use them daily for around 3-4hrs per day (walking and train) and they generally won't last more than a year at that sort of level of use - the build quality isn't great. But that said, these are so good, that I'm seriously considering stockpiling a few of them for the future. If you appreciate good sound but are on a small budget, don't hesitate.
