Pretty sturdy
The bike frame and wheels are solid. However the little less essential parts parts never quite stayed on. The reflector kept getting loose no matter how much I tighten the screw. Eventually I just took it off. The bell broke off after a few months. The handle bars and seat will get twisted out of position occasionally and need to be adjusted quite often too.Otherwise my son loves it. He got it for his 4th birthday and pretty much mastered the balancing down hills pretty much on his own. Now he is 5 and loves going fast down our long drive way then hitting the break to a skidding halt. We asked him if he wanted a new bike with peddles for his 5th birthday but he said he just likes this one for now. We will probably transition him at Christmas instead.

Nice bike, 4 year old got it for birthday
Nice bike, 4 year old got it for birthday. Week later tried out her pedal bike with the training wheels removed and took off like a champ. Couldn't go 10 ft before without tipping over. Only draw back is the brake. It sounded nice but was never used and wanted to bind on the back tire a little bit when not engaged. Probably just needed adjustment but i may just remove it instead.

Great for a smaller rider but we have one minor complaint
We got this for our 3 year old for Christmas and he loves it. We were looking for a bike that would fit a smaller rider. Our son has a 13 inch inseam (he usually wears 24m pants but some 2Ts fit). The bike is a great fit for him and will grow with him for a while. The brakes seem unnecessary as of now (he doesn't use them) but I'm sure he will figure that out when he gets older. Our only complaint: we're having a little trouble getting the brakes adjusted so they won't rub against the wheel. I'm sure a bike shop can adjust it easily enough but it would be nice if the brakes were correctly adjusted out of the box.

Wheels are nice and glad we have the seat extender post that ...
The paint was chipped by the wheels right out of the box. The handle bars adjust but not very high. My small 3 year old looks uncomfortable riding it because the handle bars are low and hard to control. And after multiple attempts to attach the "quick release clamp" to put the seat on we took the bike to our local bike shop who had to pry it on. We looked at utube videos but it appears that previous year models came w the clamp already attached. Ours was not attached. The instructuons were not helpful. They need more pics or more details w the instructions.Wheels are nice and glad we have the seat extender post that came with this year's model. Now I need to get my son to ride it for more than 2 munutes. He has tried the bike nearly a dozen times but still not able to get the hang of it. Wish we woukd have waited one more year and got a traditional bike.

Great bike, too big for my son
This is a really well made little bike. The seat is plenty low to allow younger riders on it but my 1 year old who is 32" tall still is a little small for the lowest saddle height (in all fairness his legs are a little short for his height). But the bike itself seems really sturdy and like it will last and grow with him. It was really easy to assemble. It took my husband and I about 20 minutes, though we are familiar with bike maintenance. The bell on it is really cute! I can't wait to seem him scooting along ringing it!

i blame my kid, not the bike
The bike is great, was easy to put together. The brakes (as other reviewers have mentioned were a pain). My 4 yr old son doesn't like this bike because "it doesn't have pedals". So nothing wrong w the bike. My son has his eyes set on a " real" bike which stinks because I thought he'd love this thing

Great for my GRANDSON
I bought this for my Grandson and he LOVES it. I thought a bike without pedals?? but he is only 2 and took right to it.
