Battery does not last long when using the hover on high suction, drain's the battery usage to 5minutes and takes 2hrs to re charge the battery but over all a hover.

I love my new cordless vacuum. Works brilliantly on both carpets and tiles. It is nice and lightweight and glides around the house with ease. Battery lasts well. I do have to empty the cylinder a few times but I think that's a reflection on how good the suction is. Plus its super easy to do. My only criticism is the brush on the attachment isn't great and looks very worn after one use.

Initially i absolutely loved this hoover i thought it was a great buy for the price , the build quality and performance made this excellent value .Unfortunately after only a few short days this opinion changed .First off the battery life which quotes 20 minutes actually last more like 12-15 minutes i decided to pay £49.99 for a second battery direct from swan as i was pleased with the performance of the hoover over the few days I had it which then made it possible to clean the whole house by switching between the two .The first thing to really go wrong was the tool with the little bristles on just popped its spring one day whilst hoovering the stairs , this was replaced by swan after a few emails , the replacement lasted only 2 months before again the spring popped whilst hoovering round the skirting boards .I then began to notice the hoover seemed uneven whilst hoovering my floors on closer inspection i found unlike cordless dysons for instance that have the balls underneath this hoover has a rubber cylinder , this cylinder had started to wear away over only 4 weeks causing the hoover head to be closer to the floor meaning the rotating brush had started to rub making a noise whilst hoovering , this somehow corrected itself with use but made it very hard to hoover floors with Lino as it literally sucks on to them .The hoover started to then lose suction every now and again which i was advised could be the filter , i bought a replacement but this didn’t fix the issue.The final straw has been today whilst hoovering my bedroom the hoover head literally fell to pieces on my bedroom floor , it seems the piece that holds it in place has wore away with use (4 months use) . This hoover although initially great with good suction and features is not fit for purpose and the quality and build can not stand the test of everyday use !I find it hard to believe that I have had it less than 4 months and already itis bin worthy . Please avoid if you are planning on using this everyday , I guess it would be fine as a once a week (clean the car out) hoover but not for a busy household. I will not be accepting anymore replacement parts as I know in a month or two these will break again .The saying is true , you really do get what you pay for with this brand .

I purchased this my first cordless vacuum following recommendations on other sites. Not wanting to spend top-range money I opted for this Swan Eureka model. I am very pleased with its performance; it is very light to use and the attachments all appear to do a good job - using the carpet brush directly on the motor-unit is ideal on stair carpet. I have found that the battery duration is fine for my routine use (20-30 minutes). The wall mount works well with the charging cable held by clips when you disconnect from the unit. The dust collection chamber is not the largest and I routinely need to empty it after each use - I find an old toothbrush handle works well to remove dust from the deeper areas. I recommend this vacuum if you are looking for a good performing cordless vacuum for a mid-range price.

Purchased one on December 2020 and, for the first few months, did the job perfectly. Recently, it has lost most of its suction power and constantly spits out stuff as you go along...very annoying when you lift the head up after cleaning the whole room before it all comes gushing out again.

This is 100% best hoover I ever bought. I have a disability and not able for heavy lifting, however the swan is ideal for me and I have 2 dogs. Great suction easy to empty and takes up no room in storage cupboard. Over the last 3 years I have used a dyson which costs a fortune and a a g tech hoover, but none of these compare to the swan. I also had to contact customer services as my hoover toppled over (my own fault ) and broken the small catch that keeps the lid attached they answered me within 2 days and I had a replacement sent to me free of charge within a week. Fantastic service and I would happily recommend the swan hoover to anyone I know and I will definitely buy another when this one has had its day. On a final note...
