Good Stuff!
This stuff is great! My brows always have been a bit lighter than my hair, and now that I'm getting grays in my brows I needed something. I've been using the tinted brow mousse, but I don't think that it looks natural. I researched dying my brows, and saw reviews on this product. It's easy to use. I searched "Youtube" and came across a great tutorial on how to use this stuff. Buy the little mixing cup, it makes things a LOT easier. Coat the part of the brows you don't want dyed, over and under and between, with Vaseline. Use the flat part of a dual ended "Q-Tip" sold for the purpose of applying eye make-up. Use the pointed end of that same Q-Tip to apply the dye. It's a thick consistency, so dripping is not a problem. I waited just four minutes and I got a nice brown shade. Wiped stuff off with cotton make up removers and I was DONE. Nice natural shade. Clean up was a snap since you use most of the product ( use only about 1/4 inch of the dye, and two dribbles of the peroxide), all you need to do is wipe out the cup with a paper towel, rinse, and dry it.I bought the little glass cup for mixing, didn't buy the brush- I used a regular small artist's brush for mixing. I bought the dye removal, but haven't used it since following the instructions outlined above didn't cause me to have anything to clean up.

lasts for weeks and weeks
I am naturally an ash blonde and I have golden highlights. My eyebrows have ALWAYS been lighter than my hair and as I've aged, they've become even lighter! I was afraid the "brown" would be too dark. It is dark, but I find it just right for my tastes. I leave on for 15 minutes. If you wanted an even deeper color you could leave the product on longer although I think the directions say a maximum of 15 minutes. Honestly, it's just the right color, not too dramatic, not too light at 15 minutes. The best part is that I really only dye my brows about once every 6-8 weeks. But then again, I'm NOT into the super dark dramatic brow color. I noticed some of the other brands last only 1 or 1 1/2 weeks! Yikes. In any case, the tube will last a long time making it way less than just one trip to the salon.NOTE: the dye IS permanent and will stain ANYTHING it touches and is left on... including skin. But a good oil based moisturizer will buff out any "oops" on skin.Makeup is so personal... I hope this helps in some way!

Greatest thing since sliced bread.
I really do like this brow dye it just seems to one time the activator is so watery and others it is nice and thick. Sometimes it looks too light but turns out perfect every time (go figure) It lasts me about 3 weeks to 4. The color is perfect every time. I just need to go slower some days I can get it on my skin around the eyebrow and looks pretty bad. So I just go back to the makeup remover and it comes off. No doubt I read one or two who use a small brush and that is a great idea. I do leave mine on for 20 to 30 mins. since the old gray brows are coming in to quickly so it takes longer to make sure they take.

No Staining -- hooray!
I purchased Tintocil based on customer reviews that mentioned the lack of skin staining with this product. I used it for the first time yesterday and am very happy with it! The last time I had my brows tinted at the salon they were using a new product (sorry, don't know brand name) that left my eyebrow skin a weird reddish-pink! It took a couple of days for the stain to scrub away and for me to stop feeling like a clown. Tintocil did not stain my skin at all. It was very easy to use with the application brush which I purchased. (I also bought the Tintocil "Tint-Out" stain remover as an added precaution.) I have dark blond hair so I purchased both the light brown and the regular brown and mixed them together in equal amounts. This worked well for me. I only left the tint on for 7 or 8 minutes vs. the full 10 minutes, as this was my first use and I didn't want to overdo it. I will probably do the full 10 minutes next time. Very happy that I can now get darker brows without weird staining AND at a fraction of the salon cost!

Works great!
I have been buying this for years. Works great! I use to go to a salon to have my super blonde eyebrows dyed. One place I went to used Tintocil and I've bought it ever since. I apply a thin layer of Vaseline with a qtip to cover my eyebrows and surrounding area. Then equal parts (little bigger than a pea size each) in a little cup. Apply with a cosmetic brush. Remove after 10 min. Usually redo 1x per month. Only reason to give 4 stars instead of 5....the cream oxidant in last purchase was pure liquid instead of cream making it very hard to use and it burns a bit sometimes. Hopefully my next purchase is back to cream.

Best of all I've tried
I've tried several different types of brow tint, and this is the best. The first time I used it, I only kept it on for 6 minutes because I was afraid it would be too dark. I tinkered with it a few times and now I do 12 minutes and it is perfect. I have a few grays and it does cover the gray, but I have to do this weekly to keep it all covered. I assume if I didn't have gray it would last longer.I just did my mom's tonight for the first time. She has very delicate skin so I kept it on for 4 minutes. She tolerated it very well and it left some color so we will try again next week to build up some color.I didn't find that any skin became discolored from this brand. I wish they made lash tint.

Looking for Roux? Use this!
The light brown was too light. This is perfect for both me and my daughter. We have no eyebrow pigment, so it's either this or the pencil, and sometimes the pencil is inconvenient. I used the Roux dye since 1979, and this year I couldn't find it. Just as well, as that stuff often stained my skin and I'd look like a bad Joan Crawford movie. This is good. About once a month we mix up a batch in a shot glass with a cotton swab, one-to-one ratio, and paint it on. It starts to "burn" a little, an that's when we wipe it off. Then get in the shower and make sure it's gone. Voila! Gorgeous!
