Gingko Flip Ash Wood EFECT

UPDATE: changed from 4 to 5* as i charged it once when i received it- 6 weeks later it still works so there is no need for frequent charging or to leave it plugged in. Love this alarm clock!=====Looks nice. Seems real wood. Sound function works well. It’s a nice piece of design that makes an elegant edition to the bed side. Flip to turn off alarm is brilliant.Deducted 1 star because:- When snoozing you have to be careful not to accidentally touch the V/S ‘button’ which leads to unwanted changing of the sound mode- when plugged in and fully charged there is a green light at the back that indicates the battery is full. The whole point of this clock is that the front only lights up when you need it, so it’s dark at night. I can unplug it but nowhere does it tell you how long the battery lasts when unplugged.

I love the ease of use of this clock and the simple design. The flip feature to turn off the alarm is genius, and I love just having to brush the top to turn off the snooz. My favorite feature, though, is the sound activated display. Seeing the time display if I wake in the middle of the night makes me anxious and not having to see it unless I tap the clock or make a loud enough sound is great. I originally purchased a knockoff of this company's clocks not knowing it was a knock off, and the usability and features just don't compare. I'm really glad I found Gingko.

Beautiful little clock that can stay unlit until you want to see the time. Love it!

Love the clock, had a little issue with functionality, but quickly and amicably resolved with seller, highly recommend getting one of these!

Just brilliant. It obeys the laws of thermodynamics so you do have to plug it in once in a while which does reduce the beauty. I am an obsessive tree hugger and it stands up well on the Australian myrtle bedside table I made with the She oak knickknack box next to it. Get the walnut with green light. Suck on that for a review mr fake reviewer.

Clever...very clever! A block of wood with no wires or attachments that can produce a time display on command? Nothing short of bloomin' amazing!!

Beim Betrieb mit Akku und ausgeschaltetem Display muss man schon sehr laut klatschen oder stark auf den Wecker klopfen, bevor die Anzeige angeht. Also davon wird man dann wieder richtig wach, bevor man die Zeit ablesen kann.Wenn man das Display anlässt, ist der ganze Raum hellgrün beleuchtet, das ist ebenfalls nicht angenehm, dieses grelle Licht neben seinem Kopf stehen zu haben.Eine Lösung ist nicht in Sicht. Support empfiehlt etwas vor den Wecker zu stellen, damit das Licht nicht stört. *grübel*wie kann ich dann bei Bedarf die Zeit ablesen? Dann lieber doch wieder mit dem Hammer draufhauen, bis das Display angeht.

die Uhr sieht zwar recht schön aus, aber leider leuchtet die Anzeige fast bei keinem Geräusch. Beim ersten sowieso nicht und eigentlich nur dann, wenn eh schon das ganze Haus aufgeweckt ist.Leider habe ich den Zeitpunkt einer rechtzeitigen Rückgabe und Reklamation verpasst...

Smaller than it looks in the photos, around the size of an iPhone X. But overall functions beautifully and is a nice minimal asthetic touch to my bedroom
