I would have given this a 5 star review but after using the one needle, on 4 of my locs, the needle bent. I was able to straighten it back but it kept bending. I suspect over time it will break but for the small amount you pay, I’m not surprised. You get what you pay for but overall, I’m satisfied with it. Very easy to use and the locs I have done look veey good.

These YOUNIQUE crochet hooks are my favourite. This is my 2nd purchase, and I love it. The bamboo handles are very comfortable, and the hooks are not as slippery as others. I have tried many other brands from the local beauty supply store, and none can compare to this one.

The metal part bent very easy. I have fine hair locs and the crochet tools bent. I always had to bend them back straight while using. The packaging is nice. Never have to worry about them being lost. I do recommend because it was easy for me to just bend them back. Not one broke after hours of loc crochet.

I cut part of my locs to have a middle part & I had short curly hairs in the front of my head that I used bobby pins to connect to another loc.i have free forms & I accepted that it would lock within a few months (which I then decided to look up how to loc loose hairs. anyway found this & works perfectly!! instantly!!!!! & now my loose hairs have a new connection & a cute middle part ;p.

It is an amazing tool to have by your side, if you are unable to go to a Loctician on a moment’s short notice.I have been able to clean up a lot of my locs that may have some snags or tidying up, and I also have the choice between 3 different sizes, which helps depending on what needs to be corrected.I highly recommend this tool, as my Loctician are using this tool themselves.It is very easy to use and very easy to store at home or on the go.
