This is a really nice pendant. When I came across it while doing some "wish list shopping" I knew this would NOT go on a list, but into my cart - lol! Right out of the box there was a nice surprise - the side of the moon has an open filigree design which was not pictured or mentioned in the description that I recall - this part of the design really adds to its charm, in my opinion. The silver is very clear with great reflection of light. The stone - lab created alexandrite is also very clear and bright with Strong color change properties. The main color of my stone is medium purple with changes to very lite pale pink, deep rose, lavender, and on occasion a teal leaning more to the green aspect and a lite green hue. The small CZ at the top is fun as it "twinkles" when the light hits it just right. The bale is actually part of the moon versus an added appendage & is quite large so it will accommodate many different chain types should you want to change it out from time to time. I am going to try & upload some pics of this and the filigree work. If there was any Con to this piece I would have to say its the size. Normally I prefer the small / dainty pieces, which this is - height maybe 3/4 inch with the width being close to 1/2 inch at the base across the stone, but this is one that I have to say would be nice if it were a bit bigger. That however does not take away from it presence! Very noticeable and eye catching - this would definately work as a signature piece for any age. The chain is a box link and very shiny & sturdy - this too has clear & highly reflective silver.

This pendant was just what I wanted as the moon has a very special meaning to my girl friend and I. However, I admit I don't know what my expectations were with such a low cost item of jewelry , but I was not really wowed upon opening the box. I love the design , but it seemed like a cheap trinket instead of a quality piece... again.. I understand it is low cost jewelry but still a surprise. As some reviewers mentioned it does come with a chain which is welcome. However, the chain was the cheapest part of the set. I would recommend using the pendent with a different chain. Per the picture I also expected a teal/ greenish alexandrite , but the stone is more purple than anything. I was hoping for the teal as this color also carries meaning for us. The tone barely changes hue in different lighting . I have had alexandrite before that would change miraculously in different light. Not this one. Overall not a bad purchase, and I don't want anyone to feel like they should not buy it. I am glad that I purchased it and my girlfriend loves it. I just wanted everyone to have more realistic expectations than I did that this is a cheaper item of jewelry but it is nice to loko at.

It may be authentic but honestly the aquamarine stone definitely looks a lot more clear like diamond. From a distance you can't tell it's blue at all honestly. Beautiful necklace and I'll wear it all the time. But I wish it looked more like my daughter's birthstone, which is supposed to be light blue aquamarine. I also put my own chain on it because the one sent was just too small and square for my liking. But that's a personal preference I prepared for lol

Beautiful and unique. A birthday gift fir a 12 yr old daughter. She loved it! The crescent moon is structurally reinforced with an elegant frame on the backside to give it stability without giving bulk, peridot is very visible and well balanced in size. Cubic zirconia is barely visible, but is not the focal point so... quality is great, box chain will be stronger than those cheap single loop chain, so is appreciated. Daughter has been wearing it everyday since. Highly recommended.

This necklace is STUNNING!!! I couldn't be more pleased with it. It comes on a very nice box chain. Very impressed all the way around. I bought this for my best friend as she lost a special moon necklace awhile back. I took note knowing how special that necklace was to her and started shopping around for one for her as a surprise :) And the beautiful box it came in made it feel very special! Just received my pendant and I love it. It's just the right size, and I love that the peridot is set on a sterling silver moon. The chain is substantial, not tiny and flimsy like some I have had. Well worth the money.

I purchased this for my sister for Christmas. We lost our Dad Fall of 2013, so this was our 2nd Christmas without him. This is his birthstone and she was touched by the "Love you to the moon and back" saying I put on the card to her. The only negative comment I have is that the gem is MUCH lighter in color as compared to what you see here.

My stone is a bit lighter than the others, from the comments. It goes from a lavender to a pale green similar to a green quartz. While I always appreciate the depth of color in stones, this one is still amazing. It also does have the scroll filligree on the CZ side of the moon. This helps balance the size with the weight, in my opinion. It doesn't flip around as easily. I get compliments all the time on this piece. So much so, I'll never tell how affordable it was.

Bought as a gift for my mum as it is her birthstone. It was beautiful and she loves it. The aquamarine was a very good quality stone in both cut and colour. Beautiful. Thank you.
