Carlisle USA Trail Radial Tire - 175/80D13

i just received these tires March 29th and after i had someone mount them i pulled the tag off and they were over 5 yrs old.the serial # on the tire also indicates the same date.i have them mounted already and will hope for the best i guess

Made in the USA! Unfortunately the ad is totally misleading. Tire only, NO WHEEL as suggested by the picture, and not a radial. I only bought from them because the "manufacturer's part number" they gave matched the SKU 519161 given on the Carlisle website. I purchased this tire because I thought it would be a high quality,USA made tire. I am not disappointed. I was disgusted with the China made tires sold by the Northwest's major independent retailer. Their trailer tires have flimsy casings and poor tread wear. I wanted a "tough" tire and I got one. The casing is very ,very tough (so tough ,in fact, I had trouble mounting it on the rim) and the tread is deep ( unlike shallow tread China tires). It's well worth the extra $ for the better quality.Note: -It is a bias ply tire as one reviewer stated. This is what I wanted because of the gravel roads I sometimes travel.

I saw only 2 reviews, and thought I'd add a voice. This has been an excellent trailer tire over the past year. I'm glad I didn't go "cheap" or elect to save $8 or so by going with a lower cost import. I've found this to be a substantial tire that has performed well -- with intermittent heavier loads even. I haven't tracked mileage on this purchase or my trailer, but it's not showing wear. Been on some rough roads/potholes (who hasn't these days) & all is AOK.

My original Carlisle tires were weather checked. I put these on my boat trailer. I can't give them a five until They have been on the trailer a few years. They hold air and were not severely out of balance.

These are good tires but, I'm very upset they did not come on rims! There is nothing on here saying they do not come with /on rims! On the contrary the photo projects that these tires DO come on rings.

The Carlisle USA Trail tire originated as Disco brand several years ago then purchased by Titan then by Carlisle. I have used and sold through work several of the 5.70-8 size over the past 24 years and they are worth the price over the cheaper ones on the market. This tire is by far the most durable and most reliable I have ever used or sold. Make sure you get the proper load range rating for the load you carry and they will last a long time.

Good American made tires with deep treads. Its not worth buying the chinese tires when these are only a little more. If you use the trailer quite a bit, plan on having it for a while and need it to be reliable, buy these! Cheaper tires dry rot and leak over time. These are the tires you should buy if you want a good reliable product.
