After not having a properly working laptop for months and months, I am absolutely pleased with this purchase. The audio walk through setup was pretty cool and easy. Everything so far is working pretty good with McAfee trial and Office 365 Trial. I was a bit concerned moments after starting it up that a buzzing noise came and went then came back, but since that first day, I haven't heard it again. The fingerprint unlock sometimes works and sometimes doesn't but the pin is a good backup in case the fingerprint sensor isn't picking up. Hope these in the long term won't turn into bigger issues, but for now I'm working with it. I love the bluetooth feature so that I can connect my speakers to it. The battery life doesn't seem to be too long. I also purchased an external C-type drive so that I can have more USB ports. Overall, I'm please with this Dell Inspiron 7386. Note however that there aren't many options for covers available for it as of yet, but I hope more will be available soon. The one I have is working out fine so far but I would've loved one of the mCover Hard Shell Cases but none of them to date fit this model. Also note the rainbow keyboard cover was purchased separately.

This Dell Computer is truly one of a kind! Though the battery life may be a little setback if you have to study or work long hours, the overall system is wonderful! This computer is very light and is very thin, the 360-degree feature is really children-friendly and you can set up the computer in a matter of minutes. Though I personally don't like to touch the screen of my computer because I'm a very hands-off-screen type of person, the rest of the family seemingly agrees that the ability of the touch screen is top tier. Enjoy your Dell Computer experience!

This is a good laptop for students as it is thin and relatively light to carry. It is about the same size as the XPS and it does have standard USB ports (unlike the XPS units with 10th generation processors).The speed is good thanks to the SSD drive and they keyboard and track pad are responsive.Bright outdoor light will cause issues on any laptop with a glossy screen and thus laptop is no different. My daughter has no problems using it for schoolwork or watching Netflix or YouTube.A very good buy so far!

This laptop is a very nice, well-rounded computer. Touch-screen works great. It's a fast computer for everyday use. It's not a gaming computer and RAM cannot be upgraded as it is soldered to the motherboard. As far as the storage (hard disc), it can be upgraded as it has a second slot for a 2nd hard disc drive (it's the small drive, approximately 1.5 x 1.5 inches big). Screen isn't too bright (i.e., in comparison, an iphone screen is much brighter).I give it 5-stars as it is well-rounded, reliable, fast computer for everyday use.

I wanted to get a new, smaller laptop for college. This one met all my requirements, and some. It's very sleek, very light, quick to boot up, it has a long battery life, and overall very convenient to have and carry around. Would recommend for someone who needs a small laptop, especially if they're going to be carrying it around everywhere

I've used this laptop for about 1.5 years. My official review is "meh". I used a Surface before, which had its downsides (like the floppy keyboard), but this is an all-around uninspiring replacement. The battery life isn't great -- you can watch maybe an hour or so of videos before needing to recharge. Like most Dell laptops, it runs hot and is occasionally wonky. I also have a Dell laptop for work, and I would never purchase the brand again.

The microphone does not work !, I have tried multiple alternatives to solve, reinstall driver software, update them, disable and enable device, and it works for a moment and then stops working. I bought this laptop during my trip to the US, when contacting DELL for the guarantee they told me that since I am outside the US they cannot take charge.NEVER AGAIN BUY DELL !!!
