Will this mend a crack in the bottom of my acrylic bath?

Have repaired a small crack myself, need to be patient and allow putty to set. When hard will sand down but don’t expect a colour match it is a bright white.

Would this product be suitable to fix a hair line crack in the bottom of an Acrylic bath?

I used it to fix hairline cracks in my acrylic bath panel and was very pleased with the result.

Would it work for a outer side ledge on a window?

Yes I would think so sets really hard did a hole in my front pvc door covered perfect

Under what conditions do you require the additional varnish. I am filling the holes from an old door knocker in a white upvc door

I applied the varnish ,after the filler hard hardened ,and then sanded it over to suit the finish and in dry conditions applied the varnish and allowed to dry and it turned out really well, very pleased with the final results, Hope this helps ,
