VANMASS Vent Magnetic Phone Mount Compatible with All Cell Phones, Blue

***UPDATED REVIEW*****Over a year after I wrote this review, An updated one randomly turned up in the post - Presumably because of my three star review. This one is MILES better. Really strong build quality and magnet very strong. Also came with all the advertised accessories and plates. This thing is built to last, not usual plastic rubbish, hence I am happy to update my rating to five stars.**I bought this on the basis, that the magnets is stronger than rivals, it's not. my Pixel 2 xl (with case) kept slipping down if I went over any bumps, so it's a dead loss to me. To be fair, the case on the Pixel is quite thick, so if you paired this with a slightly lighter phone and thinner case, it should be fine. Defiantly won't take a tablet as advertised!The other major issue was that it did not come with any plates in the box as the picture shows. I had one from a previous holder though, so was able to test it. It is a good idea, but the cheaper ones are just as good.

This has to be one of the best phone holders I have tried, I have bought two time before but this product is amazing, Magnets is extremely strong and great small phone holder very reasonable size.easy to setup holds phone. Would highly recommend.

This is the best of the ones I’ve tried. You can tighten/loosen the hold on the air vent it’s anchored to. There is a bracket that stabilises the hold on the vent as well. Finally the magnetised portion is on a ball joint mechanism for adjusting. Again, it’s not simple friction that holds the joint in place but again this is screw tightened. The magnet is strong, holding up my iphone xs without trouble. I couldn’t recommend this product more.

I’ve always used standard grip car holders so first time using a magnet one. Wish I’d tried sooner as much quicker to get phone on and off.Product is great build quality too, and very secure once fitted. I’m using an iPhone XS Max with the Apple leather case. I slot one of the magnets Inbetween the phone and the case, so not visible, and the magnet is strong enough to go through the case.

Very easy to attach your phone to your car's vents. Grips nice and tight too... BUT... Only had this product for just over a month and it's broken. The plastic has sheered off. 5 days after the return window has closed!! Brilliant!! Avoid this product!!++EDIT++In fairness, Vanmass replaced the item very quickly and without question. They also replaced it with what seems a better spec item (one with a vent holder AND a window/dash adhesive arm). Both of those are working fine. 4 Stars for prompt customer service (and replacement product) but only 1 for the quality of the original product.

Bought this VANMASS Car Phone Holder because it looked very robust fitting on the car air vent and promised good magnetic grip.I was not disappointed. The holder fits securely on the car air vent and is secured to the vent by tightening a plastic nut. There is plenty of adjustment to suit your requirements and when a mobile phone is attached to the holder, using the magnetic pads as supplied, the magnetic grip is outstanding.There is no movement of the mobile phone when travelling even over rough roads.Outstanding product, recommended.

This product is absolutely AWESOME. I had been using a different product with the air vent "prong" mounts, but they just became loose after a while and the mount would constantly come away from the dashboard along with the phone.This device has TWO separate locking mechanisms; one to clamp it securely to the air vent and the second to adjust and then lock the magnetic mounting platform in the correct position for your car/phone. It also has two support feet which brace against the air vent to prevent undue movement.The overall effect is that the phone "floats" a few inches in front of the dashboard, which looks a little odd until you realise that it allows you to avoid any odd or unusual dashboard shapes or air vent depths. It actually looks very elegant floating beside the steering wheel with no apparent support.More to the point, it doesn't move, and the threaded locking mechanisms DO NOT BECOME LOOSE.I have been using this now for six months, and it is still perfect.

The holder is great and works well, I had an issue with the circular metal pads. It may have been my fault but when pulling the backing off the sticky part also came off, meaning I had only the rectangle piece left. If vanmass could send me some replacements I would be much appreciated. After contact from the seller I would have no problems buying anything from them in the future
