I love these cake mixes - I usually add some type of flavoring just because plain vanilla isn’t my favorite but the vanilla cake mix works great as a base. My favorite way to bake these is with pumpkin purée instead of applesauce and add some pumpkin pie spice. Perfect dessert when you’re on a diet! And it actually makes a big cake for one person, I usually use half of a mix at a time for myself.

I tried this with high high hopes. I’m always on the look out for a good amount of protein and low sugar and low fat. This seemed to fit that. (Tho be sure to read the *as prepared* nutrition, because it does make a difference!). Cooking it was super easy, the flavor definitely was that of an obvious protein snack. Nobody will mistake this for regular cake. That being said, it tastes better than most other protein bars/cakes/etc I’ve had. I will keep using this when i need a quick protein boost to meet macros but my sweet tooth is needing fulfillment too. Side note, i didn’t use the sprinkles, no need for the extra chemicals, it doesn’t change the taste one iota.

I love these small packages for a quick and super satisfying treat while watching my calories and fat. I cut the recipe in half and have found the microwave works just as good as the oven. This is NOT a regular cake mix. It's definitely a protein base and the texture is ever so slightly spongey (I use egg whites to make it) but tasty nonetheless and makes a very generous portion.

I guess that’s a pro or a con depending on your taste buds!!This is way larger of a pan than I expected. It’s a 5x8 pan and the cake it about an inch tall. Certainly makes you feel like you’re getting a lot of cake.I’m not sure if it’s just the vanilla flavor or if they are all this way, but I don’t think I will reorder this one. I think it has better flavor than Flapjacked gf options, but it’s ultimately too sweet.

I've had NUMEROUS protein snack products that just don't taste good. They are either too rubbery or very bland tasting, but not this......THIS STUFF IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! Not only does it taste great, but it's really really easy to make which is dangerous bc I've already eaten 2 packages and ige only had the product 1 day. Will definitely purchase more!

I received five buff cakes on August 19, 2022 and they expire on August 22, 2022! Very disappointed… can’t return??? Flavor is off… bad value for the money I paid!

This is one of my absolute favorite mixes! I just mix with one egg or a couple of egg whites and a splash of milk or water and it turns out great.

This product is very easy to make and tastes great, the only thing I didn't like was that I had to cook it in a Tupperware or bowl that was very large to prevent it from overflowing in the microwave. I tried it in a regular bowl and it kept expanding over the top.
