I absolutely love this bed it is beautiful. Easy to assemble if you follow the INSTRUCTIONS, step by step. I did not have any missing parts. The bed is very sturdy. I assembled the by myself it took about 2 hours. The bed will fit both box spring and mattress. Great buy for the money. I definitely recommend this bed.

This was the perfect fit for our guest bedroom, for occasional use, but wanted something that looked good at a reasonable price. Paired it with a metal foundation in a box and a mattress in a box. Assembly could not have been easier, parts were clearly labeled. The only flaw was that some reddish adhesive was on the fabric of the headboard. Fortunately is was low enough that it was covered by the mattress and pillows. I tried everything from paint thinner to adhesive remover to acetone without success. No biggie. The finished product looks great!

First I’ll state the obvious, this is an attractive set for an affordable price. The headboard is a great size and looks quality. The entire set is an easy assembly but this is where the discount begins to show. First recommendation is if you don’t have help, pay the extra $20 to have it delivered where you want it; this thing is HEAVY boxed, so was well worth it to get it to my third floor. All parts are cleverly embedded inside of the headboard. The side pieces come in two parts and you need to join them with a metal plate which required a leg in the middle under the joint; this is where any complaints come in. I wish that they made these a single piece as the seam in the middle is unsightly for an otherwise attractive bed, if this was all I’d get over it. The legs are absolute toe breakers! While making the bed for the first time my girlfriend and I both kicked the middle leg with our toes MULTIPLE times resulting in profanity laced expressions of pain. Sadly, we almost immediately forgot the middle leg was there again and did it several more times. She got the corner legs a few times but those are standard; I absolutely abhor the middle leg. I wound up having to take some fabric and wrap it around the middle legs to avoid broken toes which is unsightly but has been a life saver. I am going to try to find something a bit less obvious but I don’t see a day where I don’t have that or I will have to resort back to the standard metal frame attached to the headboard.The other caution is that it’s not an exact fit. The base is larger than our standard king box spring and mattress. To get the crossbars to join for assembly I had to have my girlfriend push against one end while I angled the screw in to get it to attach. Once attached there was quite a bit of space on the head and foot end and several inches on the sides. I only share this so no one else is surprised if they face the same challenges.Overall I’m extremely happy with the product and got something that looks nice for a great price; just 100% watch your toes if you aren’t used to having a leg in the middle of the bed alone the side!

The media could not be loaded.  I love this bed. Definitely looks more expensive then it is priced. Only con I have was installation instructions could be more detailed. Also towards the end of adding the wood slabs to the bottom of the base. One of them does not reach the already drilled hole in the bed. So Idk if thats just mine but thats the only defect. I will have to go back in with my personal drill to create a new hole so that it fits sturdy. But love everything else about this bed.

Easy to assemble following instructions. For the price, I was very pleased with how sturdy the frame is. One thing that's a bit odd is that there's a bit of a gap between the frame and the long sides of my box spring and a large gap at the head of the bed, but it's not noticeable.

Going into this purchase, I knew Ashley Furniture was not of the best quality but never imagined it could be this poor of quality. Upon unboxing the bed, it looked ok at first but had an awful odor to it. All of the pieces (rails, slats, hardware.. etc) were unzipped out of the back of the headboard (side note- the cheap zipper broke when I was unzipping it) I noticed that one of the pressed wood boards (no solid wood or anything remotely resembling quality here) inside of the headboard was warped and split already. Upon further inspection, the side rails were two-piece with a garbage bracket to hold them together... seriously, what was Ashley thinking when they designed this bed- is it for decorative purposes only??. At this point I knew this was not something I felt comfortable sleeping on due to the extremely poor construction and the odor that the bed was emitting.Kudos to Amazon Customer Service- they were more than understanding and agreed to have a freight company come pick this pile of junk up from my home and refunded my money in full.My suggestion is to look at any other brand of furniture besides Ashley- it is obvious that they are not worried about quality but rather worried more about manufacturing piles of junk and selling them to consumers for a big profit. This is the first piece of Ashley Furniture thats been in my home and will definitely be the last.

I was really worried about buying this bed frame because of all the review saying it was hard to put together or they did not receive all the pieces. I was lucky to get all pieces and my boyfriend was able to put it together during his lunch break it was so easy and fat he said instructions we’re super easy. I’m glad I got it , it’s pretty and I recommend.

We like the headboard fabric, color, and style. It’s definitely a greige/lighter taupe not anything close to beige. It’s contemporary and fresh and the headboard is very tall which is nice for our room with 9’ ceilings. Those are the pluses. Minuses are its very low to the floor without a box spring or bedframe. We bought a 14” high metal support frame and it works well with our foam mattress now. I’m very handy and assembly took well over an hour but all parts were labeled well and no parts were missing.

It was easy to assemble, looks good.The problem is that we bought this bed thinking we wouldn’t need a box spring and you actually do need it.If you don’t get box spring, and two people sleep on it, the mattress caves on the sides so you slide from it.Also, big hole between headboard and frame so your pillows slide through the back.I’m looking for a box spring now.
