Terracotta Solar Cascade Water Fountain

Not enough instructions for assembling and solar panel has too short a battery life it only run a short time each day

I bought this "thing" in hopes it would be as nice as the picture. Wrong!That's just for starters! It was missing critical assembly parts.I spent needless time at the hardware store finding parts to suffice.I could go on and on. Anyway, buyer beware!!!! It is not like the picture!

This fountain is great. It is medium size so if you want to put it in the garden as a accent it will work perfect. You can hear the water flow though from a great distance away. Quality is great I feel I will have this for years to come. I had a few questions with the seller and communication was great! Thank you seller!

Unlike the description reads, my product did not come with LED light or battery backup. Works only with direct sunlight, and can not run in the night.Very misleading and disappointing. Also, the product may not be returned.

The solar cascade water fountain is a wonderful addition to our yard. We tried to place the solar collector to gain the most from the sunlight available, since it only works when the sun shines directly on it.

Quit working after 1 month of use...

This item is great and had a little problem at first but their customer was very helpful. It look wonderful in my garden

Lots of extra cable for the solar panel making it easy to hide. Flows well and fills a perfect spot in our garden. Company was very helpful when the light stopped working.

seule la fontaine en elle même est bien ..l’éclairage led fourni avec n'a jamais fonctionné ...la durée d'utilisation des piles est faible a peine 2 heuresje sais qu'elles se rechargent a l’énergie solaire mais comme cette année on est gâté de ce coté là je m'attendais a mieux ...j'ai du racheter une autre pompe electrique celle là pour en profiter ...

Bought this because it was pretty much the same as one my mum has in her garden, which was a lot more expensive when she bought it from a garden centre. The instructions are typically unhelpful, but it is pretty easy to put together.It comes with a generously long power cable, which is important as the solar panel really needs to be positioned somewhere where it will get a lot of direct sunlight during the day, otherwise the batteries won't charge up and the pump will stop working - the pump and lights are powered by the batteries, so if they are flat, it won't function. And once it stops, I think you only get it going again by restarting it.The LED lights are very bright, but they only come on at night when it gets dark, which seems logical as its pointless them being on during the day.Overall, it's a nice product, and gives my garden a little character, there's nothing more relaxing than the sound of running water.Just make sure you keep the reservoir bowl (at the bottom) filled up, otherwise the pump can burn out, as it is water-cooled. And it will probably help to regularly clean out the reservoir bowl to remove any debris that naturally accumulates.

I've given this a 5 star rating although it really should be somewhere between a 4 and a 5. This is because although overall it works and does what it says, there are some parts which could have been better designed. Another reviewer mentioned the very visible wires and pipes and this is very much so. Also nowhere does it mention in the instructions abt the batteries so I haven't managed to get the lights to work at night yet.Having said that it's pretty, and it trickles into each bowl and gives a relaxing sound, and the solar panel works although only in direct sunlight it appears. I can't see any way of "storing" it so obviously the backup batteries are a must (not sure how waterproof it will be though).When I compared other water features this was the largest (tallest) for the price, so it is good value.

The media could not be loaded.  Love this! It was easy to assemble and it looks great. Don't know if you can hear on the video,but there is a lovely tinkly water sound too. I have placed a couple of big stones to cover the pump and wound a plant around the pipe that takes the water to the top jug. Do have to top up water regularly in hot weather or windy days. I was worried it might topple easily, but is quite sturdy and well balanced. On a sunny day it runs for way more than four hours. Have only used it once in the evening and the light looked lovely, but it has a setting where it comes on the same time each day and I have mine set for afternoons.

Easy to set up. It worked straight away from the battery reserve. If you turn it on using button it will only last 4 hours and will come on at same time every day. If you want to control it more, just take the blue plug out when you want to stop it and plug it back in when you want to start it up again.It is delicate and I have chipped one of the pots already when cleaning the filter.Also as I don't use it every day the water does tend to go green in about two days but they are easy to clean... Just be careful! I am sure if you ran it every day it wouldn't go so green. You can buy a product to stop it going green but I haven't done so. The weather has been so hot that the water is evaporating quite quickly but also the cat now drinks out of it and so do the birds so don't want to put chemicals in.Anyway, I love it and would recommend it.
