This book has been very useful for me in connecting these three themes. This book consists of a good balance of definitions, case studies, and the author's thoughts.

Great book for gaming and ethics/ governance.

This is a pretty nifty book that takes seriously the idea that gaming has a place in institutional design (and the more micro-level design of public meetings). It inspired me to take some research in the same direction, and the last book that did that was Jane Mansbridge's Beyond Adversary Democracy ([...]). So, it's in good company.
