Physical Therapy 55617 Lateral Support Arm Trough

My Dr. wanted me to get an arm trough due to my left arm being drawn into my chest due to a stroke. I love this trough! It was easy for my husband to attach . Doesn't rotate and stays put. I have an electric wheelchair and I do not clear doors accurately. It stays put and doesn't move. It is shaped well and my arm rests on it well. Very pleased. I also use the trough to help me transfer food or items I need to move from one room to another. It is easy to remove. Unscrew it and reattach the arm rest. Easy peasy.

I removed the fixation part very easily, tools were even provided. Now I can use it in my living room chair as well as my PWC. Easy clean fabric, comfortable support!

Got this for my father’s wheel chair and it’s a very nice quality however it won’t bolt to his chair. It’s held in place by 2 medium screws and 2 tiny screws. It will spin/slide/turn under my father’s arm. We have taken measures to make it more stable but for the price we shouldn’t have to do this. Also it was very hard to attach to the chair, screws wouldn’t thread properly and the hex key wasn’t very useful.

Husband's right arm is semi paralyzed and this works perfectly when he is in his wheelchair. It is soft, prevents his arm from falling down. Would recommend. I do fold the wheelchair often to take him to Physical therapy ... so I do have to retighten the screws every 2 weeks or so, but very easy to do. Solved a problem!

This product was well made but did not work with the wheel chair Medicare assigned to me. I had to return it.
