GIVI EA115KG Seat Bags

PERFECT bag! Just got back from 78th Sturgis Rally, rode 2800 miles round trip from TX to SD, rode through 2 rain showers and my GIVI bag kept everything dry and secure. I have a ‘16 Indian Chief with somewhat narrow cargo rack but this bag fit just fine (see pic), I did use a small piece of rug grip just to help against sliding on cargo rack & used ROK straps (also highly recommend; bag comes with 2 basic bungee cords & detachable shoulder carry strap) and a cargo net bungee system to secure my rain gear bag & leather jacket to the GIVI bag. I packed 7 (yes 7!) pairs of jeans (rolled up) and 14 T-shirts + 7 days worth of socks, underwear, bras (yup lady rider here), and toiletries bag, can really compress the bag down with the straps. I was able to open my hard bag lids easily and I actually cut up the Amazon box it came in to make a semi-rigid base inside the bag so it wouldn’t sag down on either side of the cargo rack. So with my saddle bags and this awesome waterproof GIVI bag, I had plenty of clothes/gear for my 7 day trip to Sturgis 2018!

Great bag for my clothes when I travel on my motorcycle, definitely a must have, used it for a 7,200 KM travel nothing ever got wet, I placed it first on the passenger seat and later on top of my topcase, worked great in both places.

This is one of the Best Buy’s I made for my motorcycle. Holds plenty of clothing and I just road through two states of constant rain and everything stayed perfectly dry.

Perfect bag for everyday use as well as long hauls.

It looks like I'm the dissenting voice here as everyone else has awarded this bag more stars than me. Let me explain my reasons. Firstly there's the opening: you can't actually fully close it as there's no zip. Just an open mouth with some Velcro but this doesn't span the entire width. That's right, it only spans about 12 inches across the middle leaving big holes either side large enough to put your hand in. I know, I know. I can hear you saying "Yes, but I thought this would be OK as the bag is designed to fold over thus closing out the weather"! It is, but it has to be well loaded with stuff so that it expands enough to make using that Velcro strap you see in the middle of the bag a viable option. If you don't fill the bag enough then all you've got is a strap which can't do what it needs to do as there isn't enough Velcro to attach it too - just a small square in the wrong position. I don't want to sound too negative about this item but ultimately, as an ex London motorcycle despatch rider of over 15 years experience on and off, I know that a good sealable pouch is essential for everyday use if you haven't got a top box. I bought this bag mainly as something to carry a couple/few bags of shopping home and it will do this. Givi even supply bungee straps with which to fasten to the plastic fixing so you can have the bag attached to the bike at all times - rather like a second top box. However, if I were using it for work then I wouldn't chance carrying any paperwork or artwork - specially in the rain. At £47 I think this is over priced as it hasn't really been fully thought out which is a shame because it's very close to being very good. Bad designers.

Combined with Rok straps this bag was amazing for camping on my motorbike. Easily fit my tent and sleeping accessories for the trip. When the tent was up I used this bag to store my motorbike textiles outside the tent. Dry as a bone and very versatile depending on how much you want to fill it.

Great bag. Definitely waterproof and well made.Drawbacks - the bungy cords supplied are too big to feed through the hoops on the bag. Also when you tie the bag down you get creases which I’m sure will turn into cracks through time.

Yes it good for my harley

Very good fully waterproof bag. Strong straps and easy to attach to my motorcycle. Thing I like most is the fact that I don't have to unstrap it to put items in the bag.
