I have used this stuff everywhere, interior/exterior, windows, doors, siding, trim, etc. and have nothing but good things to say about it. It works well and does stretch more than other caulks I have tried. Some problem joints will still tear it, such as butt joints, but Sashco says that their products will stick to themselves, so you can just reapply Big Stretch right over it if it tears. I have found this to be true and subsequent applications have held up fine.As for tooling the bead, this stuff is really smooth and easy to apply. One thing that never seems to be mentioned about caulk is taste. If you do the tooling with your finger, often times after extended projects the stuff starts to stick to your finger, despite wiping the excess off, and eventually you get a nasty taste in your mouth. I think Big Stretch sticks to itself better than other caulks that I never have that problem with it.So it goes on easy, and the tooling is better, how does the finished product look? It looks great. Big Stretch doesn't seem to sag as much as other caulk in joints that move quite a bit. I actually tested this out on a piece of siding that gets a lot of sun. I compared this to Dynaflex 230 and SW 950A. I looked at the joint in the morning, and all of them looked the same. I checked it out later after several hours of sun hitting the siding. Big Stretch looked the best of the three, the SW 950A had some sag, but not too bad, and the Dynaflex looked really droopy.

I am a second generation Home Builder and I am glad to find big stretch on Amazon as I order lots of single items that are needed in a hurry thru Prime. I see that as of writing this review that several colors of Big Stretch are available from Amazon.Let me begin by saying that Sashco is a great company. They have been making quality products for many years. Their entire line of professional caulks and sealants are top of the line. I am very comfortable having their products used on my jobs.No one likes call backs, from the Contractor to the client. They cost money and time. Most of my painters use professional caulks that you will not find at big box stores, and for a reason. Most of the DIY caulks will shrink over time. I had some crown molding on a project we did a couple of years ago, develop cracks between the ceiling and crown. It took a full year for that to develop, but it was in a home that had insulating, heating/cooling and humidity issues. Later I found out that the caulk used was not a pro brand. It really looked bad seeing all those cracks and pulling away caulking in an otherwise highly detailed and otherwise flawless job. The old caulk had to be removed and new caulk and paint applied. I paid for that trim finishing three times. The first time, the second to remove, and the third to fix. Needless to say we went back with big stretch. *** It may be a little more expensive up front, but it may be much less expensive given time and circumstance.....***Do it right the first time and Do it once.This is a professional product being available to consumers. You won't be disappointed. This is my high end go to caulk when conditions are extreme and results need to be guaranteed. Five stars easy.*** Update August 2016 - This is still my favorite all purpose caulking. Still going strong. No call backs on cracked caulk joints. Happy clients makes me happy too.

this is pretty good stuff, probably the best caulking i ever used, it really does stay playable so it wont crack over time, probably easy to remove if i have to do that one day also as it should peal off once it gets stared like a long rubber strip, myself, it probably will be the only caulking i ever use again in my life, it works that well, that $1 junk just doesnt compare in anyway, $1 stuff is one star compared to this absolute 5 star caulk

The product itself seems fine. I just put it on our baseboard and am waiting for it to dry and cure. However, their delivery was bad. It did not have an amazon box over it to begin with. And it was left opened with all contents showing in my front porch! What???

I used the stuff 32 years ago to seal up joints under the eves of my house. The facia boards and soffits, etc.. I just started removing the facia boards to replace them and reroof my house. This stuff is still bonded and semi flexible to the facia/ soffit. I had to cut up the facia boards into pieces to remove them. Trying to remove these sections this stuff acted like a hinge holding to two pieces together. I had to hit the board with a hammer to separate them. I also used it in the joints on my vertical seams of my siding. I have some places to rework, but most of the joints are fine. Needless to say I’ll be using this stuff on all my new seams.

The product is ok. The problem is it was sold as a box of 12.....there were only 10 tubes in the box. Ripped off.

Absolutely love this product! After years of using regular caulk that I'd pick up at the hardware store I'll never go back. This is very easy to apply making trim look absolutely amazing. Have nearly redone the trim in my entire house and it looks professional and is fuss free for applying. No need for a fancy caulk gun or tool with this, just a cheap caulk gun and your finger and you'll never have better looking trim.
