Sawdust City Tilt-Out Wooden Trash/Recycle Bin Holder (Solid Burgundy)

I never write reviews but I was so blown away with this product, I had to. I purchased this with the thought that it was going to be like most of the things I buy assemble, and headaches. Nope! Completely built and AMAZING quality. Real wood, awesome craftsmanship. Built really really well. Expectations when above and beyond!

Very nicely made - works perfect for our kitchen, and almost exactly matches the color of our cabinets. It came very well packed - good to know it was made in USA (Wisconsin ) - looks like the folks there take pride in their work.

I have wanted a wooden trash bin for years and now I have one. I choose black to go with my appliances. It took a little effort to install the door knob and lid. The company included a bottle of touch up paint. The trash can that came with the bin is perfect for the two of us. After 3 months of use, I found a 14 inch crack in the inside of the door. Contacted Sawdust City through Amazon, explained the issue and within 5 days I have a replacement door. Excellent customer service and product.

Pros. Smells like wood. Looks like wood. It is wood. Color and distressing well done. Came with wooden “welcome to our home” sign. Appreciated. Well put together. Easy to asemble.Cons-size!!!!!5 stars- real wood, ease of assembly, color, packaging (the smell of wood and stain was intoxicating as I cut away the bubble wrap.)I wish it came with rollers for ease of movement while mopping and cleaning.1 star- IT DOESNT FIT 13g TRASH CANS!I read so many reviews and quite a few said it fits a 13 gallon trash can.1 star- IT DOESNT FIT 13g TRASH CANS!I have three different kinds of 13g cans for different reasons and none fit!So now, with a family of 4, with two teenage boys, Im supposed to make due with a 9g trash can or chop a 13g down to fit.I read reviews that said this fit a 13g. IT DOESNT!WHY WHEN 13g IS STANDARD FOR A KITCHEN CAN IN THE US, CAN NOONE MANAGE TO MAKE A BOX TO GO AROUND ONE?In the end, I’m forced to give it overall stars of 3 because the primary reason I bought it was because reviews said it would suit my family and the description was not specific about what cans it can and cannot fit.

Love this trash bin!!! It looks just like it’s pictured! Perfect size and made very well. Came assembled excepts for adding the top. Rustic country charm!

Very rarely do I write a review, positive or negative, for products i order, for reasons non other than extreme cases of positive or negative. This is a prime example of extreme positivity and satisfaction. There aren't enough characters allowed to describe my level of satisfaction for this product and company. Period. We used to have an expensive but ugly stainless steel trash can sitting against a wall in our kitchen. I was tired of it leaving marks on the wall where the lid would bang open, and it was just an eyesore.I have wanted one of these trash can cabinets for a while so I finally bit the billet and ordered one, and I’m so glad I did! This looks great, like a piece of furniture, and it holds up really well.It came mostly assembled, I just had to attach the top and then hammer in the provided hole filler pegs. It took maybe 5 minutes to complete the job.Trash can was included in the cabinet.If you’re on the fence about spending this much money for a trash holder, do it! It’s worth it.

Nice, sturdy, dog proof garbage can, well made. It was very easy to put together, just the top needed to be added. Would have been a 5 star product, but I could not get the wood pegs flush with the top, even with a rubber mallet. Other than that it was worth the price and my dog is unable to get into it.
