Dreamfarm Vebo | Silicone Washing, Draining and Cooking Basket | Vegetable Steamer | 7 inches

I really like this little basket. It will be a great addition to our kitchen. It has already been out to use for washing fruit. It fits perfectly in my favorite pot and will be used for steaming and boiling. I think this will get lots of use!

Works wells. Holds its integrity at full boilThe reason I didn't give it 4 stars was because it is small - doesn't hold alot of bulky items like brocolli or cauliflower so best for people cooking for 2 or 3 people. Would be nice if the manufacturer made it about 40% bigger.

Works perfectly in the 6 quart Instant pot. (The two companies should strike a deal to offer this item packed with the Instant pot!) It is the perfect tool for the job of steaming, but also, for all steps in soaking, cooking, and straining the water from cooked beans. Cleaning it is a breeze in the dishwasher (and because the sides are flexible, it fits in odd spaces in the dishwasher). Storage is also easy because of its flexibility (although I don't think I will be storing it a whole lot since I cook lots of beans from scratch and steam vegetables probably more often than most. I highly recommend this item! (I have absolutely no affiliation with this company; I'm just a really satisfied customer.) Pictures are: 1 pound of beans soaked overnight (in the Instant pot liner, lifted the strainer containing the soaked beans, poured out the soaking water, reinserted the strainer containing the soaked beans--fewer pots, slotted spoons, colanders to get dirty!); beans with fresh water added for the pressure cooking process; cooked beans; straining the cooked beans; underside.

This size is very small n does not hold much food. Good for single servings but not much else.

I have previously used a metal steamer basket and I am so glad I upgraded to the Dreamfarm Vebo. So far, I have used it in two different sized pots and while the lid closed fully on the larger one, I did have a little difficulty squishing the Dreamfarm down far enough in the smaller pan to make a perfect seal with the lid. Besides this, it has worked perfectly. The vegetables were cooked evenly and the best thing about it is that you can easily lift it out of the pot with the handles without needing an oven mitt. I can't wait to use it for pasta so I can cook and drain with the same product.

I received this and couldn't use it until my boyfriend came over and deciphered how to take the tag off. I was excited as I have been looking for this kind of product for a while. I was disappointed. The first time I used it the pot boiled over. I tried a different pot and there was either not enough water to boil the pasta or too much so it boiled over. Also, when you try to pull it out, you need to use tongs or a pot holder as the steam comes up where the handles are burns you. I will not try it again. Hopefully someone can develop a pasta pot insert for two people!

I bought in December 2018 this after reading all the reviews and watching the video. I've used it 5-10 times since then. It is a good steamer - it is a good strainer - it is a lousy way to cook pasta or anything that will be boiling *in* the water. Pasta doesn't hold it down, and when the water boils the bubbles push up the Vebo. And because it is raised, you have to put more water in a pot than you normally would, so with pasta especially, it boils over. And because you don't put the lid on in these cases, the Vebo lifts in the pot. It's annoying.

It’s does a lot for one kitchen tool but a bit pricey. It’s not so easy to clean bc it doesn’t hold its shape but easily wiped clean. Perfect size for instant pot!

Saw this on a foodie website. Absolutely love it!! Wanted it for hard-cooking eggs. Small compartments keep the eggs from moving around during cooking. Also they don't sit on bottom of the pan or float! Tiny holes for drainage. All silicon so is not hot to handle. Bought the smaller one, but also comes in large size. Can use for cooking vegetable too. Came in 5 days, no shipping cost. Going to buy two more for foodie friends! Thanks for great service Amazon!

Pas mal du tout pour égoutter les pâtes ou autres. Par contre, il, est nécessaire de bien doser l'eau dans la casserole et surtout de disposer d'une casserole avec une taille adaptée.

Recomiendo totalmente este producto, lo llevo usando años para escurrir pastas o verduras y no se ha maltratado ni cambiado de color el silicón. Además es súper práctico y no ocupa mucho espacio porque se colapsa.

Good heavy weight silicone. This 7" Vebo fits in my 6 qt Instant Pot and fits into my 4 Qt PrCkr but is too tall - the maker says to just squish it down in and go ahead and use it. So you can do that. It also fits in my 4-5 qt Rice/Multi Cooker. I didn't buy it for my Instant Pots because they have SS inner pots. I bought it for my 4 qt PrCkr and 4-5 qt Rice/Multi Cooker with non-stick inner pots. Extremely pleased with my purchase. I have bought two other silicone thingy-ies to use in the non-stick inner pots and they work fine and cost less. The price on the Vebo is next to ridiculous but I have to admit I like using better than the cheaper thing-ies because it has waaaay more substance to it, is only a bit easier to wash and collapses for storage. Oh, also the handles are strong and trust worthy. I wish it didn't cost so much but I am happy with my purchase.
