VisiKey Wired English Large Print Computer USB Keyboard

The keyboard was bad from the beginning. The screen jumps wildly no matter what program I use, The screen begins to jump wildly back and forth making it impossible to use. Then it jumps to full screen and pushing the F11 key doesn't work it bring it back. If I hold it vertical and tap it on the desk it stops for a while but quickly reverts back to the jumping screen again. If I unplug the USB plug and use the laptop keyboard everything is OK.When I plug it in again the problem is back.This must be an internal chip that is bad?The problem seems to be with the function keys, Maybe the hall effect switch in the keyboard is bad or a chip inside. I would not recommend this keyboard or dealer unless I can get a new keyboard that worked.The dealer sent a replacement keyboard without any hassles and it really works great. I am changing my rating on the SECOND KEYBOARD TO 5 STARS.

I really like the jumbo letter keyboards. This one -- the keys are flat to the boardand previous versions I've tried were more raised keys. Like the flat to the boardbetter, seems to be friendlier to long finger nails and I'm less likely to slip betweenthe keys. I like the jumbo size for typing with just the light of the screen. Also, thewhite one black vs black on yellow of an earlier model - is also easier to focus on.The upper case numbericals are to the left of the number in this model and that alsomakes for smoother operation. Who knew all that little stuff would make a performancedifference.

Pros - Large letters easy to see. Two USB ports come in VERY handy.Cons - A little larger than I expected but to be fair, I was looking for something more portable and could not find one that had USB ports.I needed a portable usb keyboard for troubleshooting PCs on site that only have touchscreen with no keyboards. I needed the USB ports as they only had one that remained active after imaging. This is not that portable but the price and two USB ports with large bright letters (rooms are dimly lit) sold me. After 3 days one of the letters fell out so I can say its not that sturdy.

My husband is absolutely delighted with his new, large print keyboard. He is spending more productive time with his computer with none of the previous problems that arose from his not being able to see the key lettering clearly. The keyboard is a little larger than a generic one, but not large enough to present space problems. The letters occupy virtually the entire key surface which makes the identity considerably larger than a generic keyboard and hence so easily seen. He will not be without one of these, again.

Bought this keyboard for my senior parents who have a harder time seeing up close (far sighted). They love it. The keys are slim profile. Noticed that some of the keys need to be pressed a little bit harder in order for them to register though, so I'm assuming the quality of this keyboard isn't that great. Will get the job done for basic computer use. They don't use their computer to type too often, but if you are an everyday computer user who types a lot I would recommend something higher quality.

Let me just say that I love it, but I am not a touch typist and if you try to type fast, I know that some letters need to be pushed harder to have them type every time. I don't mind that at all, but I took one star off for the people who will care about that.I bought it to see the letters and function keys LOVE LOVE LOVE how big the print is.My previous keyboard, I put little stickers on and they wore off so fast and I love not having stickers on the keys.

AN UPDATE: Problem with keyboard USB ports: If you attach mouse to either keyboard USB port, you might get beep code warning & PC will fail to boot (assume this because PC can't find either/or keyboard or mouse). If you get past beep code, then if you type or click on your browser it will jump all over the screen--So just connect the mouse & keyboard each directly to your PC & everything works as it should--Otherwise, everything I initially said about this keyboard is still true.

I loved the product and so did my husband who I bought it for! However, he accidently spilled a small amount of water on the keyboard. We immediately tried to dry it and used a hair dryer on it and have had it in a warm place since. It kept shutting the computer down and will not work except for a few keys. It was not that much water. Disappointed... liked the product!
