I am so glad to have found this reasonably priced replacement for the lid of my Vitamix Aspire. The dog enjoyed the old one!It fits perfect - stays on but not too snug. It has a bit of a blue tint which I do not remember on the old one, but it works perfectly.

Exactly what I needed, I lost my plug to my original Vitamix when moving. This fits my old gen blender with no leaks or issues.

My mom stored the cap inside her blender and I accidentally ground it up in a smoothie! (These vitamix blenders are powerful!) So I bought this to replace it and hope she stores it in the drawer instead of the pitcher when I go visit.

Fits very tightly but would buy again

This is not only an exact match for Vitamix 5200 Model 0103, it's made by Vitamix - it's identical to what came with my Vitamix. I'd dropped my cap plug and it rolled somewhere and I couldn't find it, so I ordered another one. Then I found my original cap plug. They are exactly the same in every respect. Plus other sellers ridiculously overcharge for this part, and this one is priced reasonably.

This review is for the 64 ounce container without the blade assembly. I previously reviewed the lid plug, which does indeed fit the original container perfectly, and Amazon will not let me change the item purchase listed.The container only absolutely does not fit the original buy the mix blade assembly. I dropped and cracked my original container (I have the professional series 500 with the tall 64 ounce container), and purchased this replacement because it had the rubber handle. It looks identical to the original container, although it is clearly a knock off because it does not have the vita mix logo, but whatever invisible differences exist preclude being able to fit the vita mix blade assembly properly. I tried for way too long and you simply cannot screw the blade assembly on tightly enough to keep it from leaking out of the bottom.I returned the container and purchased another version from Amazon that does not have the rubber handle and is cheaper. That version is clearly the original from vita mix with the logo and everything. I was able to install the blade assembly quickly and easily even without the special tool, with no leaking or anything.In summary, if you are looking for the container only, note that the overall good reviews are for the lid plug only version, which does indeed fit the original container well. However, do not bother buying the container only, because it will not fit the blade assembly and you’ll end up frustrated and having to return it.

A simple replacement cap for one we lost. Same quality, dishwasher safe, very durable. Not much else to say. 👍
