Love these little ties! I use them to tag different breeds of chicks that I hatch :) The variety of colors lets me make color combinations for crosses, availability, gender, age, breeding group, and more! UPDATE: I've purchased multiple packs. Quality and colors have been consistent. If you want the full color spectrum make sure you're purchasing the right product option. I kind of wish black and white were part of the pack, but I can get those elsewhere. I band chicks from the day they hatch up to adult hood. You have to snip the bands off every 2-4 weeks as they grow and put a fresh one on to give them more room to grow without the band digging into the leg. I only mention this because on a lot of these little tie products I see bad reviews about the tie cutting into the leg of the bird. Anyways, having these has been awesome. Whether I'm selling chicks or raising them, I can see exactly who and what they are at a glance. Cockerels get a special orange band on the left leg (pick out the extra boys at a glance), all birds get breed ID tags on the right. Color combos tell me who the mama and papa are of a chick. No tags tells me I have no idea what cross breed it is :P Bright red tags tell me they're not for sale at a glance (useful with customers; red means not for sale, no exceptions!) Plus you can send customers off with a way to tell their little chickies apart, useful when they're not familiar with the breeds they're purchased. I've not yet had a band break or fall off (other than occasionally leaving them loose enough to slide over the foot). They are quick and easy to put on chicks, even one-handed. They do seem to fade in vibrance after a couple months, but I rarely have birds banded for that long without changing the band anyways. Oh, and I also use them on electronics and cords. Very useful there too :)

At work, we have rolls of heavy wire rod that no longer come with color coded tags to determine the length of a specific rod. After searching for other "product tags" we searched for other options. When we found these we were beyond pleased. They are brightly colored and seem like a heavy well made product. They turned out to be exact what we needed and we will definitely be purchasing more in the future! Other reviews mentioned not receiving the colors that were shown online (the colors I saw were the colors we needed) but I am assuming they have since updated the product picture. As the description now reads, the colors are (Blue, Red, Green, Yellow, Purple) - this also the only picture I found of this product. Other reviews had mentioned a white, grey, etc and that they were under the impression that there would be 10 colors total. The package I received was the (green, blue, purple, red, yellow) which is exactly what I had expected/hoped for.

I originally bought these to identify all of my chickens as they were becoming harder to distinguish as they got older. The slim ties don't bother the chickens at all and they've lasted for a couple months now so far and don't seem to be causing any skin irritation either. I've used them to seal bags and even secure planters to my deck railings and they work really well!

Items came as promised, I was just expecting something a little wider, but they seem more than strong enough to do the tasks that I need them for.

These are exactly as described arrive in the variety of bright colors shown. We purchased ours to tag chicks since they have many advantages over the other options available. * The variety of bright colors all in one pack. * The fact that we could use them on any bird no matter what size the leg and didn't have to incur the extra expense of purchases many sizes. * They are very easy to get on without hurting the babies, their legs are very fragile. * The colors allows us to tag different breeds since many look the same as babies. * They also allowed us to tag for any other options we chose since you can put more than one on a leg easily. * The bright colors are easy to spot and tell apart (except for the two yellows). The only disadvantage we found is that they sometimes fall off. To solve this we simply put one on each leg figuring if one falls off the other would still be left. This has worked out great. I'm sure we will be purchasing more of these in for future tagging, we love how they are working for us.

I bought these zip ties/nylon cable ties mainly for yard and garden use. They're pretty small (4"), but the buyer should know that from the description, and they're also quite strong, more so than other inexpensive ties I've used. The five colors are bright, a little wild, and they show up from quite a distance which may not be ideal in all applications. I don't care what color tie I use in the garden as long as it works and performs as it should, and these do! At $9.25/free shipping for 500 ties, the price is great, whatever color they are. If you use alot of small zip ties, need one with decent strength, aren't particular about the color (or happen to want colors like these), and don't want to pay a bunch of money for something that's a one-time use (like zip ties), these are an excellent choice! The little ties exceeded my expectations and I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

If you think all ties are created equal then your thinking is skewed. I can assure you that there are good ties and crap ties. These ties are awesome. They do the job great and I still haven't came across a single one that was bad. I'll definitely be getting these again.
