Replacement for Makita 6213D Battery - Replacement for Makita 12V Battery (1300mAh, NICD)

Save your money, I bought two of these batteries and, like one of the previous reviewers, they won't hold a charge and do not fit securely in the drill. You shouldn't need duct tape to hold the batteries tight in the drill. Another fine product from China.

Not close to OEM. Few hours of use. Wish I'd returned them when I could.Why sell these? People like me who buy and don't follow up on time if dissatisfied.

Works great in my older Makita drill driver - price was right and I'm happy with my purchase.

Yesterday, as my husband was installing our Christmas lights outside, I noticed the red battery attached to his drill. How do you like that new battery for your cordless drill? I asked. "Oh, I love it!" He responded. Nuff said.

I would have been better off in investing in a brand new power drill for a few dollars more.

Battery does not fit securely in my drill; clearly a manufacturing flaw. Nor does it hold a charge. Frustrating.
