Turtle Beach Ear Force P11 - Amplified Stereo Gaming Headset - PS3, PS4, PC, MAC (Certified Refurbished)

*Review edited 3/14/15*I have had this headset for several months now and it's still working great! Absoluetly nothing has gone wrong! I even got a playstation 4 recently and it works with that aswell. Although for the playstation 4 it doesn't function quite the same, you can't adjust the audio for chat and game like you can for the playstation 3 unless you buy the converter, but I am going to purchase the converter instead of a new headset for the playstation 4 because I love this headset so much!So far this headset is great! The sound quality is awesome, it's definitely a whole new gaming experience. Being able to hear the game sounds as well as chatting with friends and being able to control both volumes seperately is great. I don't know how it is compared to more expensive headsets, but for this price range I don't think you can beat it! The cord is plenty long enough and the volume controls on the headset work very well. It's comfortable enough, after wearing it for a long time it will start to be a little uncomfortable but it isn't unbearably bad. The microphone works very well, the people I play with say that they can hear me so much better than with my other headset. The construction of the headset seems a little cheap, the plastic used for it is lightweight, which is nice but I just hope it doesn't mean it will break easily! I've had it for about a month and I have taken good care of it, and so far it is still doing great! I will edit my review in a few more months or if anything goes wrong with it. Overall I think this is a great headset for a fantastic price, if you are on the fence about it I'd say give this one a shot before paying a crazy price for another one!

these are good headphones for a fair price they are extremely comfortable on the ears being as the cup instead of laying on top of your ears and it has the very nice option of adjusting game volume and voice chat volume allowing you to be able for the most part hear whoever it is your voice chatting with clearly and the sound quality is very good definitely surround sound and also very good for noise reduction one problem i did find was that when there isnt any sound or if it is a quiet sound there is a light static in the back ground i made sure the mic was turned off and it was the headphones but if you are purchasing these for mmo fps games such as battlefield or call of duty which most people probably are you are not going to notice it and it does have to be almost silent to hear as well overall i found myself using these for other games because alot because most of the time little ones are around and think it best for them not to hear the profanities or the screams of people in the last of us or in bioshock infinite so these are good for that as well if you're looking for a affordable pair of headphones that have very good quality and a good quality mic these are for you.

I bought this headset for my son as a gift after his more expensive, "better" brand gave out on him. This headset worked better than the others, and they cost a lot less! The sound quality is good, the microphone works well, and he has no complaints. They are comfortable to wear for long periods of time due to the cushioned padding. If you're looking for a comfortable headset that works well for a good price, and you don't mind if it's no-frills basic, then this is a great value.

Personally, this headset was much better than the Kraken Pro's. My roommate bought the Kraken's to compare to the turtle beach P11's and it was vastly different in sound and mic quality. We also tested it against the SteelSeries Siberia V2, but the Siberia's were better in sound and mic. It's a little flimsy, but has lasted for a while. I've had it for at least 5 months and hopefully it continues to prove it's worth. The price was great at 30 and totally worth it!

Great headset for the money. This is my first headset and definitely worth every cent I paid for it. May upgrade to a wireless unit once I get some money together, but for now, this rocks. And I can use it on my PC when Skyping or using Google Hangouts with my friends.I have used it so far to play CoD Ghosts and it as changed my experience phenomenally. I can hear character callouts, footsteps, shots, even the silenced ones if they are nearby. It has already increased my situational awareness to where my KDR has risen by .3 points in a few hours. It's also great for chatting with my friends and clanmates, giving me a good experience talking with them.Despite how big it seems, its light enough I was able to wear it for several hours at a stretch. The cables can get annoying but I'll live until I can get the $200 for a wireless set.

These were a gift for my girlfriend. She uses them every time we play PS3. They're great and I love that we can play and talk when we are apart. She seems to love them, although every now and then they are very quiet or laggy. But that may be the game or the internet.

I bought these as a gift for my stepson; they arrived on time before Christmas and he seemed to like them so I'm happy with this purchase. I didn't even realize they were refurbished when I bought them and they looked just like new so I guess I saved a few dollars. Win!

I really love the product the sound quality is pretty decent. It's not JUST really loud like most head sets it's also has decent quality. The microphone sounds really good. my only complaint is the sensitivity is a little high, now if it had one of those foam mic sleeves or a dial for that it might be okay. Also I had 2 friends that had P11's and theirs broke the same way due to a wire. But so far i'm good. Now My favorite part about this is it came within a day and free shipping, you cant beat that.
