Harbor Freight brand for less than Harbor Freight prices.
I purchased two different grinding disks from two different sellers to compare. This review is for the disk on the right, pinkish red center label. The label is marked with a brand name of Warrior, and has an item number. This item number is a Harbor Freight item number, as is the Warrior name. Strangely, purchasingvit here was cheaper than buying it at the local HF store even using their 20% off coupons.First thing I noticed when looking at the two of them, the Warrior had the chain installed backwards when it came out of the package. I’m not saying all of them would be like this, but you should double check it before installing on your grinder. The correction was very simple. The top and bottom disk are not attached to each other, or the chain, so remove the small shipping clips, (you’d be doing this before operating anyway), lift off the top steel disk, flip the chain over, lay the top disk back in place. It’s that simple. But again, if yours shipped backwards and you overlooked it, you would get terrible results.Compared to the other disk, which by the way was similar in price, the Warrior chain is thinner, and after a short while, does start to deform and curl back towards the rear disk. I cut/ground a section of old pine, which measured approximately 8” x 65”. I made a series of cuts with the grinder blade across the 8” side, about 3/4” apart, then used it as a grinder to remove the strips of wood between the cuts. The total depth removed was approximately 3/4” - 1”. I was able to remove a section about 8” x 52” in length before the blade was beginning to noticeably dull. I have not attempted to resharpen yet, although it should be possible, exactly like sharpening a regular chain saw blade. My concern would be the deflection/curling of the cutting teeth towards the rear plate. No, I did not apply excessive force while grinding the wood. Just enough to keep the chain in contact with the wood and allow it to cut.Not sure how this blade would compare to some that are selling on Amazon at 3-4 times the price, and I have yet to try the other blade to compare its life. I will review that blade in a few days and add my review for it.

I use this alot!
Disk disassembles when you take the blue plug out, but can be reassembled. Do not force - it can jump back when it catches. With practice, you can draw very straight lines at a pretty steady depth, better than a chain saw. Great for rough-carving or tree girdling.

Great angle grinder accesory
Love this chainsaw disc. It works awesome. I actually used it to trim our pigmy palms. Made short work of the job. Will buy another. Price is also outstanding.
