McKesson Lubricating Jelly, Sterile Individual Packets, 3 g, 144 ct

Dyna was too watery, do not tear open easily and the box quantity was short. McKesson now comes in individual packets that are already separated into single packets instead of 4 to a sheet that must be tore apart into individual single packets, the consistency is thicker and stays in place, which means less lubricant is required on the catheter or enema nozzle. The tear open design provides an opening on the end of the packets that limits or focuses the lubricant flow to a 1/4" opening, making it much easier to apply the lubricant exactly where you want to put it and with less mess. My box came with 3 extra packets instead of being short 4 packets, as the Dyna was.

My husband has been in Rehab for over a month and immediatly developed bed sores. At first they used the typical white cream for several weeks. I applied it when I was with him too, but it only helped a little, and the white cream is extremely hard to wash of me AND him. This product is clear, and a little goes a long way. It works better and faster then the white cream. My husband has Parkinsons and will need to wear diapers the rest of his life, so a diaper rash is something I'll have to manage forever. He's never had a rash before, and I know that when he comes home I'll be able to eliminate it with this product. This product washes off quite well and has no oder. I chose the individual pkgs instead of the large pump size because I can control how much comes out easier. I'm on a budget, so I sure don't want to waste any. I hope this helps. Good Luck!

There is not enough lubricant in the catheters my husband uses. This enables us to decrease his discomfort. It is essential as far as we are concerned.
