Can't beat Tru-Spec shirts
These shirts can handle the daily grind of being a K-9 handler. I highly recommend this item. I have used other shirts that work well. In my humble opinion, Tru-Specs are the best.

Comfortable base layer for summertime body armor wear
So, recent urban socio-political developments have me feeling a lot less paranoid about previous body armor purchases. But in the unlikely (though distinctly possible) event that I've got to don body armor, it occurred to me I could do better than just a t-shirt underneath. The Tru-Spec 1/4 zip Combat shirt fills the bill. The torso is Cordura (polyester/cotton sleeves), which has some stretch. I'm 5' 9" with a 39" chest and 33" waist, 165 lb., so the sizing chart tells me to order Medium. That was loose in the chest and long in the sleeves though, and the Small fits without wrinkles in the torso (though by no means tight) with the sleeves the proper length. I've kept a Medium in khaki, as it's still wearable, but the Small fits the way it should (no wrinkles in the torso, which would probably get annoying under body armor). Long story short: these seem to run a little big. Sleeves have shoulder pockets with generous loop Velcro for patches. There's a pen pocket, but only on the left forearm, so lefties like me will have to keep doin' what we do and adapt to a rightie world. I'm not military any more, but I've got enough morale patches to make this feature welcome. Sleeves fit loosely as they should, and have Velcro cuffs to keep your hands from getting lost. Elbows have a reinforcing layer of fabric, which forms a Velcro secured pocket for an elbow pad. Sleeve fabric is a little stiff out of the package, but should soften up with wear and laundering. Definitely a welcome improvement over a simple t-shirt in terms of protection from "milkshakes" or whatever else rioters might be throwing around these days. I gave it 3 stars for warmth because this is a summer shirt (Tru-Spec makes a winter version in fleece that is suited to that season). I'd still recommend a mesh ventilation undervest like 221B Tactical makes, to maximize cooling and minimize body armor stink from sweat.

One Shepherd
Needed more of these for One Shepherd. Tru Spec always does a great job. I'd recommend for anyone looking for One Shepherd uniforms.

Sizing just doesn’t feel right.
So if it wasn’t for one issue I would have kept it, however the sleeves are extremely baggy, I have big arms and it was loose on my arms. You can easily fit a inflated basketball in the arms.

Great shirt to use with a tac vest
Got this for SWAT. Feels like a t-shirt under the vest, and a tac shirt on the sleeves. Genius design!

Exceeded my expectations
Nice light weight combat shirt. It breathes nicely under my plate carrier and withstands some hefty wear and tear from my environment (woodland and rocky) I would recommend this for anyone looking to get a bang for their buck.

Nice fit
I'd recommend putting on another layer underneath if you're doing any outdoors work; the material is lightweight as they say. All other product descriptions are accurate. Great buy all in all.

Worth the extra cost over the lower end competitors
Great product. Breathable and professional looking. Color fast seems to fade much less than the lower end knock offs. With better stitching and velcro than the competitors also.
