NGL bought this just because it looked cool, and was waiting to gig with it before giving a review.+stock pickup sounds great, easy to dial in+looks metal af+decent stock tuners-took forever to setup (played great once pickup height, truss rod, and bridge were tweaked)-huge5 stars because it was <$300 and sounded great once adjusted, plays and sounds above its weight class and looks super dope. Get a good strap.

I STUMBLED ACROSS A DEAN METAL MAN BASS FROM A FRIEND OF MINES WIFE,BUT SHE WANTED TO SALE IT!!! ALL I HAD WAS $40.00 BUCKS,AN SHE SAID SOLD!!! SOMEONE HAD WENT INSIDE,AN SCREWED WITH ALL THE WIRES. SO I HAD TO RESODER ALL CONECTIONS,AN LOOSE GROUNDS TO STOP THE HUMMING. THIS GUITAR IS PERFECT FOR WHAT IT'S MADE FOR HEAVY METAL!!! HARD, FAST,AN LOUD!!!
