Cuisinart Fondue Pot, 3 Quart, For Chocolate, Cheese, Broth, Oil, Stainless Steel, CFO-3SSP1

This is a good fondue pot! It's made of attractive stainless steel, with a nonstick coating on the inside for stuff like cheeses or other sticky stuff. It's attractive, heats up quickly, easy to use, and made of reasonably thick materials. It's certainly not the cheapest, though, and functionally I think that cheaper fondue pots would do the job just as well. That said, aesthetically, this looks great. Plus it's got a name brand on it, if you care about that sort of thing.

Original purchased it to make chocolate fondue for a holiday party. That was great but we won’t be doing that often. Luckily we found another use for it - it’s great for homemade hot pot!

Excellent heat modulation due to a thick metal base to ease heat transfer between thermostat settings. My old pot was could not evenly heat when the thermostat went between heating and resting of heating cycles, especially important with cheese and chocolate recipes. High quality look and feel and stainless steel is easily cleaned. Liked it so much I bought another to get more people around the table cooking their fondue fare.

This fondue pot worked very well for my family’s cheese fondue night. I love how it’s electric and very easy to use, though I would recommend having an extension cord handy because the cord doesn’t stretch very long. It came with skewers and everything I needed, and I loved how you could make the whole recipe right in the pot. The temperature control was also very effective and heated the cheese evenly, and the stainless steel design made it easy to wash. I would fully recommend this pot for a fun family dinner, and I can’t wait to try chocolate next!

This fondue set does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The only drawback, I did not realize just how big it was when I bought it. I think that I would like this item better if the capacity was smaller, because it’s so large that I need several pounds of cheese or several pounds of chocolate at a time just to melt and have a fondue. The item is a quality built appliance. I have never been dissatisfied with any Cuisinart product. As I said, I just didn’t realize how large it really was and so unless you do huge parties and entertaining all the time, I would look for a smaller capacity fondue pot.

Nice fondue pot. Quick and even heating makes fonduing very pleasant. And cleanup is incredibly easy, too. This was a very good investment.
