Empire VFDT30LBN Thermostat 6-Piece 30" Ceramic Fiber Log Set - NG

Obviously a bad thermocouple. Wouldn't stay lit. New gas lines, everything was good on our end.Very frustrating installing and taking back out then reinstalling having it work for a bit and then not relighting after shutting it off.

Addedthis to my 2nd fireplace after the 2021 Texas ice storm. Works very well and looks great. I don't think it will be used a great deal but will be well worth the money if (when) needed again.

I did not install this gas log myself, it was a professional installation, but I can say that it didn't take him more than a few minutes. I only wish that it had a remote control ignition.

my husband and I had initially bought gas logs at a "big box" store and were very dissapointed. They did not put out very much heat. I found these logs online at half the cost of what another store was selling this same brand.They put out an amazing amount of heat and look great! So far so good!

I do not like that the ceramic logs don’t glow when hot, as was the case of the ones in the fireplace that I was replacing. But the major issue is that, the largest log, split vertically down the middle, after only a month or so of use. And since it has been a relatively warm winter, I consider that time of use to be nominal. I requested a refund or replacement of the defective product, but to no avail. I’ll have to replace it, but it won’t be from this seller!

The thermal couple was bad when it showed up so it won’t start and stay lit. While trying to repair it the cheap igniter broke. Geez. Now I have to find two oddball parts I need from God knows where. Would buy a different brand.

The log set is awesome it makes a beautiful fire . The set is in our basement but heats our home without using our furnace. We love it!

Wonderful logs. And it is so pretty when burning. Easy installation. My husband only cussed once and didn't draw any blood during installation. Lol.
