Center indent prohibits modifying your grip
If this pick hits your wheelhouse for finger position, then its a good firm grip aided by a comfortable indent. Unfortunately for me, the indent places my fingers where too much of the pick is exposed for my comfort/style. Not the picks fault, but it is not for me without some real adjustment on my part, and I'm too old to change now!

Great pick
These are great picks, I used the standard 3mm big stubbies for years as I love the feel of them, but I was never a huge fan of the tone. Finally I tried the nylon version and was immediately hooked. Had the same feel but a much better tone (in my opinion). The only downside is I feel that they wear slightly faster than the regular stubbies, but overall not having the chirping sound every time I hit a string greatly outweighs the slight increase in wear. I highly recommend this pick

Good picks however.....
These are very good picks however, when buying multiples one would expect consistency in quality.

Best Picks Ever!
I have always used Dunlop, and they have never let me down. The Nylon picks have helped me create the tone I desire for my music, and will never go back. The only reason this is four stars is that I go through picks relatively fast. I give these out to other guitarists, the pick goblin steals them, and they also are worn down from the type of music I play. I would really like to see a 72 pack option in the future.

" For those who feel comfortable using a thicker unyielding pick
As a music teacher and an active musician I can assure you that Big Stubby picks are too thick for the average player. Two millimeters is significantly thicker than the average--and MOST people that see me using one of these laugh it off as some ridiculous anomaly. "Oh is that a bass pick?" For those who feel comfortable using a thicker unyielding pick, however, the Big Stubby can be a fantastic option. It offers considerably control due to it's recessed "grip circle" and a nice attack from the sharp point/beveled sides. All that said, this particular pick comes in a clear purple color that I think is infinitely cooler looking--so I'd recommend those even more. :D

Non-slip, flexible, some molding flash
i like the shape and feel of the Dunlop Big Stubbies, but I find that the material is too hard for my tastes. These are made of a softer material, and are easier to grip, but they’re a bit too “clicky” (if that’s a word) in the 1.0mm thickness. I might try ordering thicker ones to see how they play. Mine also had a significant amount of mold flashing around the edges, which is something I’ve never seen in any Dunlop pick before. Maybe I got a bad batch? I’m going to do some hand sanding with 320 or 400 grit paper and see how that works.

Great pick!
I bought them as a change-up from the purple Big Stubbies, little did I know that they are made from a different material than the purple picks. The gray picks are a better material (IMO) and are actually easier to hold than the purple version.

Quintessential Bass Pick
These picks are amazing for bass guitar. In my experience, even the heaviest of regular guitar picks end up breaking down when used on bass strings, whereas these last forever, or until you lose them. Tonally, I prefer the resulting sound produced by these picks as opposed to regular guitar picks because it doesn't produce as much of a 'ping'; the sound is darker, but remains clear and robust.

Value with Dunlop quality
Picks were delivered quickly and are exactly what I ordered. I like the width. Makes them easy to keep hold of.

Buon prodotto

Love these picks!
Best picks! Great for picking fast especially. It doesn’t bend which is great.

Less attack, smoother sound
Not quite as bright as the usual purple Stubbies. But they feel good. If you want less attack in your sound, definitely worth a punt
