Great for small venue or home use
Perfect for smaller applications but plenty loud for small venues. I bought one to run buth an electronic drumset and a keyboard. Do not, DO NOT do the update via the app. The update kills the Bluetooth connection permanently. Fortunately I read about this prior to purchase and ours still works perfectly. The only modifications I would make is allowing the speaker to auto reconnect to Bluetooth when it's turned back on.

Bang for the buck!!
I needed a pair of smaller powered PA speakers for spoken word and smaller DJ events. I stumbled across these on Amazon and could not believe the price. They shipped quickly to the state of CT USA. I tested them at home and I am very impressed with the overall durable construction and quality sound. If you need a pair of powered PA speakers and you are on a budget you cannot go wrong with these. I will update this review after an event or two. I also bought the JBL covers for these on Amazon and I am very happy with those too.

Sound fine and the 10's have plenty of punch
I bought two to replace JBL Cabaret Series workhorses from the Eighties. Plenty of power for full keyboards and guitar as my personal stage monitors. Sound fine and the 10's have plenty of punch. These push a lot of air. My B3 sounds are terrifying. I bought these to save weight and space as I am pushing 60 and gig every week. I will say they sound better when I drive them from my workhorse Mackie 1202 rather than directly into the inputs. I see in some reviews people don't like the JBL Bluetooth app, but I never use it. I have used them for a full year and so far, so good. An old sound company guy once told me "JBL, Crown and Soundcraft are the way to go". Now they are all the same company.

Sounds great. Not a true mic thru.
These are great monitors. The thru feature is not a true thru. Instead of going through as a mic signal, it changes it to a line signal and it has to be padded at the mixer. A true thru would not change the signal and you could check the main mix without the monitor being turned on.If you have plenty of monitor mixes on your board, problem solved. These are lightweight and sound great.

NOPE NOPE NOPE build and sound not great. Buy QSC instead.
NOPE NOPE NOPE. expected a lot better sound, and then it crapped out (blown tweeter) after about a week. Sound mught be acceptable in a loud band setting where vocals are not important, but for what I do - vocals and Martin acoustic through a mixer into this - it just sounds flat and lifeless.Returned and bought a QSC K10. MUCH better qualty sound, features and volume. By the way, I've been a pro musician since the 70s so I've heard a lot of systems and speakers through the years. Bose used to stand for quality - what happened? - and I'll never get back the hours I wasted trying to get it to sound decent.

More than a basic knowledge of sound systems. Hi fidelity.
Haven't even got mine yet, but I know what to expect based on sound mathematics,,,logistics.. Right now I'll only comment on about two things I've seen in questions..Bluetooth. These speakers were never sold as Bluetooth streaming music. Sorry, but your mistake number one.. If you want that in this category of components, fork out another grand per pair. Two, to other comments with low ability sound results. These are not passive speakers. You have to treat them ,hooking them up as hooking up an amplifier through your preout. And just to solve a world crisis, let me make it very very easy. If you have a competent receiver/amp, without a preout, buy the Russ Sound 1.2 line level to line level adapter. A bit funny, but Russ sound is backordered so far, I ended getting mine through Home Depot on line. In 3 days. LMAO. Lastly, I am a consumate professional. Including my hyper sensitive ears that here everything. PA professional speakers by common DJs sound like guttural trash. Sorry guys, I don't care how big your PA speakers are, I don't care that you have mixing boards. If you don't have warmth of some decent home towers, and yes they will have to be rebuilt carefully, interchanging parts, speakers from one brand into another, 85 degree capacitors to 105 , ,you'll be frustrated beyond belief..It can be a learning curve for years. I will outperform sound quality than most on a budget level, and it all started with my lowly rn803 receiver amp. An entry level but highly integrated Yamaha amplifier. Only because Kenwood is out of this. It's just meant for signal output. Rather than spending 2500, I'm only interested in two channel stereo. You can add all you want with the Russ 2.1. Polk speakers can be laughable. They've been interchanged. My Paradymes, probably misspelled that Canadian company, ,,my dual Acoustecs subs, my OSD amps, Yamaha receiver ,,all meshed per specs, ,,I can out perform anyone from a play list on my Galaxy phone 10 or 22 ultra, than all the BS I've seen in my life. And I perform for free for the love of it all.. The eon 610s at 500 watts continuous each side something most people don't fathom when mixed appropriately with other components and speakers. Wattage doesn't mean a damn thing. Digital amps/switching amps I wish everyone understood. The only thing that comes close are DClass. Now you have to do our own homework. A clean 100 percent efficient 2000 watt system depending on venue will still not resonate in most people's heads.. 2000 watts continuous..Peak,double that in some hard hitting plays . And my system at home indoor, outdoor is child's play, yet like you're at a rock concert. A rock concert loses quality because it's an entirely financial constraint. I bring home sound to the outdoors. Until you hear the difference you'll have no clue..I'm tired of this idea with compact PA speakers that it ever works. It's a joke. But my next home party or free show, people will be like, wtf dude. WTF. How's that possible.

You get what you pay for
After lots of thought I finally purchased a set of these, I was a little worried by some of the reviews. Are there better speakers out there? Yes but these are decent for the price. The pros: built in amp, plenty of volume with some eq settings, very rugged and portable. The cons: each speaker needs a power source, a lot of feedback even when nothing is plugged in and sound levels are at 0. The only other thing I noticed is at low volume these only have high and mid and no low or bass and sound much better at higher volume. I purchased a separate sub also from them and it all sounds good together.

2nd one - great for floor monitor or PA
We have had one of these for a number of years. Play out every weekend. Saved the day couple of times. Keep it in a JBL bag and they last for years.
