Great knife blank to make your own custom knife
I am a woodworker and have been buying these knife blanks to make custom wedding gifts for friends. The blade comes razor sharp right out of the box and maintains an edge really well. I love that they have a no logo option so I can etch my maker mark on the side of the knife. I made my own hybrid resin and burl handle to attach to the tang and people love the handmade gift.

Highly recommend
Finished product with Ironwood scales. This is the sharpest knife I have ever purchased out of the box. I just ordered the matching cleaver. I plan to order additional knives when they are back in stock.

Poor workmanship
This is my 1st purchase of the knifes. The bolster was poorly milled and flared. You will need to do extensive filing to straighten the machining to install the handle. Decided to return.

Santoku Chef's knife
What a great knife for every day use. The quality and sharpness is unreal! Highly recommend this Santuko knife. Can't go wrong with any of the Katsura products. Definitely a winner!
