Thompsons One Coat Concrete Seal 5L

Used this for a freshly laid concrete slab, 6 weeks after laying the concrete I noticed it kept dusting, especially when it rained, sand would brush off the surface after rain. some areas of the concrete would produce wet light surface sand and others dust. I used this product, on an area which is 10square meters. the 5l tin is good for an area which is 30square meters. however because this is the area I bought it for and had no other use for the product besides this area I decided to apply the sealer on thick, gave it 3 coats in one sitting. ensured the product penetrated the concrete thoroughly. after letting it dry for 3 days in the dry sunny weather, on the 4th and 5th day it rained continuously day and night and the concrete slab was dry as a bone. everywhere it was completely dry, other concrete areas of my garden were visibly wet, the slab where the product was applied was bone dry, no dusting, no sand, no nothing, no surface level sand or dust. the slab wasn't even wet, even though other areas were visibly soaked. excellent product.

Seemed to go on and dry ok, a bit of spatter from the roller. Have it 2 coats just in case. Concrete was not bone dry when applied but it seems ok.

Used to seal a newly screed garage floor 8m x 3m. Scree was put on old concrete and left a week before sealing. Easy to put on with an extended roller but needs care when first pouring into a flat tray as it comes out quick.Best used with a plastic sheet under the can.
