Q: what are the dimensions? i'm thinking about using this for a new mac mini (2018) stand.

Q: Is anyone having trouble inserting a micro sd card into This? It does not hold the card securely. I have tried multiple ways.

It works fine for me. Make sure you are using a name brand card like SanDisk.

Q: is this work with my late 2015 iMac 27inches 5K?

Irene - I bought one for my 2016 iMac 27...it really is just a cool base with more built-in USB hubs - 3.0 and C and the Micro/SD Card slots. I'm not sure why it wouldn't work you are just powering a new set of outlets through a hub that gives you forward facing connections. I also like it because it raises my iMac about 1-1/4 :) Best, Brian
