This is a serious tool
Rugged with plenty of torque and no batteries to wear out. Perfect for the backyard mechanic who needs one every month or so. Loosened the 1 3/4 nuts on my bushhog.

Great tool for home mechanic
I initially had some doubts about how powerful this thing actually can be.As soon as it arrived it tried it out on my lug nuts. Sure as hell, it worked. The cord is a bit short so be prepared with extension cord. The detent pin tends to really grab onto the sockets so also be prepared witha small screw driver or something to release the pin. It is somewhat of an annoyance because it's hard to pull out the sockets without help, but I'll take the safety it provides thankfully... you don't normally change socket sizes much with tools of this type. All in all great tool, it's served its purpose well. You may wanna consider getting a cordless type if the cost isn't a concern as it'll provide much more flexibility, both while you work and where you can take this.

Bang for buck, can't be beat
I have 3 subaru's, and taking tires on and off is a breeze with this thing. This thing packs a major punch.I never use it to put lug nuts back on because it torques them really tight!! I always use a torque wrench. Other than that, I've broken loose some pretty stubborn bolts with this thing, and it has so far, never let me down.So much for getting pneumatic tools for an impact wrench!

Very good to excellent product.
On small negative: the combination forward/reverse trigger may be a problem for some to adjust to. Also, when using the tool facing backward, one has to be aware which part of the trigger one is pressing on. I was working on my disc brakes in close quarters and pressed the wrong part of the trigger. Not a great error, but it may be in some situations where going inadvertently in the wrong direction could damage a bolt/fastener. Otherwise, a great tool for the price.

Package crushed, torn, and taped together.
I have taped the box back together and returned to UPS. The contents look like they are in good shape. I don’t understand how the package could have received such damage unless it was intentional, crushed, torn, and taped together.

An effective alternative to pneumatics
This is a surprisingly powerful electric impact wrench. I purchased it to remove suspension fasteners from a 10 year old BMW and it worked very well. The construction is heavy duty and it generates plenty of torque.
