I've purchased this same laptop several times for my son. It's the only one he likes. he's autistic, finds it very easy to use, good picture and sound. I've seen a lot of reviews about losing the wifi connection. That is a power save feature that can be corrected. It's a great laptop, relatively inexpensive, lightweight, cute colors.

This laptop is really nice. We got this because we needed a 2 laptop for my kids to do schoolwork online. It’s super nice lightweight and I really like that the outside of the laptop has texture. It provides a good grip because of that. The color of the laptop is true as shown on Amazon. It’s really a great laptop and it come pretty fast too. And yes it was a new laptop not a Perown so please don’t worry about that if your looking into getting this laptop.

pros:- the screen size it pretty big- the setup doesn’t take too much time- great for online school- comes with a charger- you get a free one year subscription of office 365- you can download apps like spotify, netflix, hulu, roblox, etc. (though i wouldn’t really recommend getting apps like roblox and minecraft since they take up a lot of storage and it may or may not just make your laptop even slower)cons:- it keeps disconnecting me from my wifi and i have to keep reconnecting but honestly, i’m accustomed to it now. i don’t even mind it.- it was slow every time i clicked on something too fast so try to avoid doing that to prevent your laptop from freezing (its not slow to the point where you can’t do anything)** im only using this laptop for netflix and online school and i would recommend it to anyone doing the same **

Our family has owned several HP laptops in the past all of which worked perfectly for what we needed, so we just sort of blindly purchased this one when it came time to add another to the household. This was a huge mistake. There are many things not to like about this laptop. It is horribly, painfully slow. Regardless of your internet speed or if you are even on the internet, just getting the computer to open and run apps takes literally several minutes. The whole Windows safe mode and Edge browser are a disaster we are now wise enough to avoid altogether. But worst of all, this laptop will drop your wifi connection after five minutes of use. Over and over and over again we would connect, have it lose connection, reconnect then lose connection again in only minutes. It was impossible to do any work with this machine so we finally returned it for refund. The HP 15.6 we bought to replace it has been working fine.

My daughter got this for Christmas, and it’s still going strong. She loves it and we have had NO issues with it at all. She mostly uses it for roblox, school work, youtube, Netflix, etc., and it works perfectly. I’ve read some of the reviews, and feel lucky that we haven’t had any of the mentioned issues, so we can recommend this laptop. The color is great too!

We bought this for our daughter for Christmas after quite a bit of research. I was a little reluctant due to the reviews about it dropping Internet connection. I was hopeful we’d get lucky. Unfortunately, we didn’t. We had issues with internet connection dropping every few minutes right out of the box. I spent most of Christmas Day researching solutions. A BIOS and WiFi driver update seemed to resolve the problem, but what a pain! Get it together HP. This is clearly a significant issue if many users are experiencing this. Otherwise, this is a perfect laptop for our kiddo.

This is my first home laptop which was purchased to engage in Zoom meetings which have become a necessity of recent times. I have been very pleased with the product, it's easy to use functions and portability (which my desktop obviously doesn't have). I have not encountered problems with wifi as reported by some purchasers. The only issue was that I did have to convert to Windows 10 after finding out Windows 10 S Mode does not allow using the Zoom which was the main purpose in buying this laptop. I found HP tech support to be very helpful and it was easy to follow the directions to convert over. I am very pleased with this product. Thank you.

Purchased this as a replacement to a computer that I had for 5 years that suddenly stopped working. This computer came in handy and arrived quickly. The only downside is the storage. It is minimum, but it's doing what I need it to do in this moment. External storage can be added. Another is the lack of a CD/DVD build in. I had to get a separate external drive for movies and dvds. For the "old school" individual that prefers more tangible entertainment experiences, prepare to get a projector and/or external drives. Overall works really well.
