Very sturdy and well made
We installed this in an outside compartment of an ambulance to camper conversion we are doing. It's very well made and holds the 11 pound propane canister up and out of the way.The rubber pads that run down the center of the bracket stick out the back as well and we needed to use spacers on the mounting bolts to allow room for them behind the bracket. We expect to get almost a week of heat out of our 11 pound Flame King propane bottle and Wave 3 heater when we travel this winter, and this bracket allowed us to securely put the bottle in what would have been 'unused' space instead of worrying about it banging around in an exterior compartment while we're traveling.Although the price tag is a bit rich, the quality of construction is visible and worth the price to us.

Super rigid and won’t rust
While driving down a rough, forest service road, my old mount wobbled off and dropped off my teardrop camper. The tank and hose were both damaged and weren’t usable for the remainder of my camping trip.I order this mount and bought a new 11 lb bottle from the local propane dealer. The new setup is far more rigid and is also not going to rust like the old mount. The smaller 11 lb propane bottle isn’t much of an issue for me since it only fuels the cooking stove. Carrying a big propane bottle was more than I needed and this is more of a right-size for how I’m using it.

Worth the money
I have it mounted on my truck rack and I do a decent amount of gravel, wash board, rural and medium off-road driving... She has been holding up just fine, I did add a little glue to the rubber. When taking the tank on and off for refilling the rubber tend to remove itself, however, it just slides back on. A small amount of glue and the issue has been resolved. I couldn't find a better tank bracket on the market.

Decent value
The quality was not as good as I thought it was but I will keep it in our use it I had hoped that the fasteners would be a little bit more commercial grade but they are

Perfect fit and well made.
Bought this for my new 11lb propane tank. Mounted to my trailer and holds up very well. Very sturdy with the full tank.

Passenger side only on Jeep Wrangler
It's reasonably sturdy. I just got back from driving it over the Rubicon Trail and it held my 11lb propane tank in place the whole way without a hitch. But I'm not convinced the tiny strap screws will hold the strap and tank in a collision though; in which case the tank would go flying.Installation was relatively straightforward. I had to find the right bolts. For a Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited (4 door) I ended up using M8x72mmx100mm square U bolt to hold it in place. I had to overdrill the mounting holes in the bracket a little using a stepper bit. That's OK. But then it's mounted securely. But the strap is non-reversible. So while the Jeep's top is removed everything is fine. But as soon as I put the top back on, I won't be able to actuate the strap release lever - it'll be trapped by the top and too close to the side to open or close.I contacted PowerTank and they said that this is their only model with a non-reversible strap, and the only option is to mount it on the driver side rather than the passenger side. That may work, but I'm afraid it'll interfere with my high lift jack mount on that side, and I'd prefer to keep the fire extinguisher on the most accessible side.I may end up removing the metal strap and securing the tank instead with a couple of ratchet straps.

Sturdy mount for my propane
Easy to install, lockable, sturdy. I take this trailer on mild off-road trails. Tank is solid in the mount. I'd 100% recommend. I'd also recommend making sure your tank will fit. I needed to shorten the strap a bit for mine... My fault.
